hi guys... finaly i bought d wave... it is a grt experience to use dis phn. though its my 3rd day wid d phn. but there is an issue with d batery it takes a good four hrs to charge and hardly lasts for a day... it also restarted on its own twice while multi tasking.

Is there any Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) in S8500 wave??
Also I wanted to know if there is call recording facility available??
I would like to have the above features in my new mobile..
How to make a video call from wave s8500, i didnt see any reviews based on that??

Been using my wave for two weeks. so far most things are great. have tried Mobile Ap,GPS and A-gps,FM radio, Xvid videos.browser is fast. what i dislike at the moment is Battery life. not as impressive as what have been reviewed by this site. I also find most of the negative comments here are user lack of technical know how. most problem posted are configuration issues,also please don't expect your phone to be like PC. wave can't handle 6 application at the same time.just maintain up to 3 apps and everything is responsive.

New waver, 24 Jul 2010You are just sulking now mate. :) That is okay, but dont bl... morenot blaming any one , just a simple fact that samsung wave is not a durable product .IF i have to baby sit it and be super careful in the way i hold it fearing a single drop might spoil things for me then this kind of ruins the whole experience .
companies do research before launching a product i am sure samsung also did but they did sacrifice a few things in order to make it look better and other things . At least they did not make a blunder like iphone 4
all said and done my older blackberries were built like a tank two years of abuse but still dont show their age , the samsung wave with the new screen will be used as a entertainment device only for communication nothing beats blackberries lol

The salesman at JUMBO ELECTRONICS told me BADA OS besides Samsung apps, can also support JAVA & SYMBIAN apps.
Is this true?
Is there a MS WORD, MS EXCEL viewer available of BADA or something similar to DOCUMENTS TO GO?

Hari, 23 Jul 2010How shall i transfer my contacts from nokia backup file to ... moreif ur having nokia N or E series copy 1st that number to contacts , then open setting in contacts of nokia & mark all as buisseness card & send it to samsung wave via bluetooth . its very easy. & friendly

yes guys, i was facing a lot problem with kies & yahoo all that stuff , but as i have updated kies it works awsum & it also upgraded my firmware on 24/07/2010 of samsungwave. not it has solved my each problem.. just only one querry can any1 solve . i have master resetted my cell phone using (*2767*3855#)but now the gps maps even after loading from pc, fails to connect me to gps when outside, it show sync with route66 pc . but i have done all stuff but still fail plz some1 do help me...

I had been trying to update my wave from ddje7 to ddjf2 using kies......but everytime i try to do so, after the binary files are dowlnoaded andit goes on to "update" step, the connection to my phone is terminated automatically and a msg kums up tht i have to reconnect and go into the recovery mode....i did tht too....but my device just wont show up again in kies....i retried it 4 tymes and its update size is 180MB so its pretty annoying to do tht everytym.....wen i close kies and again run it and reconnect it, then it gets connected easily....the update again starts from step-1......pls tell me wt to do.....thanks..
