guys plz help me my wave's battery drains very fast.
can any one have same problem?
bcoz last night i charged phone for 30 minutes and
morning there is only 2bar.
i don't understand what to do.
plz.give me necessary suggetion.
i m from rajkot(gujarat)

[deleted post]as I already said there is no problem in playing divx file.my problem is I cannot download any divx file it says unsupported content.phone plays a file and browser says that particular file is unsupported why this contradiction.any solution?

It works for me in 20 minnits with out error using windows vista home.
And for those that wanto flasch with 3 gripbutton way,U need to hv multylouder sofware in between the process Inorder to do that.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2010Bought this phone two weeks ago.hardware and display are gr... moremmmi have changed some of my settings for the internet browser and now i don't have to refresh the page once it is loaded to see the latest content. just go to settings in the browser and select auto delete browsing history and in there click on cache then set and make sure the green circle is on in delete browsing history. no more reloading pages.

Not sure what's happening, but my Wave has slowed down quite a bit since morning. Photos take longer to load, scrolling is not smooth etc. It was working fine for the past 2 weeks.
Could this be because of too many applications? I have nearly 20 of them installed.
I tried rebooting the phone, but the problem persists. Could a phone reset clear the issue? CPU says 1% all the time.

If I buy this mobile, could I able... moreThe answer to both questions is that this phone is superb. The only drawback is the firmware update... I had lots of troubles with that.

Bought this phone two weeks ago.hardware and display are great.that's all.cannot download avi file tells content unsupported.but samsung tells this phone is divx supported.even my previous nokia n73 download avi file even though it cannot play divx videos out of box. keypad sucks typing message is terrible.no connection manager to see whether your internet connection is intact or not.nokia phones may be inferior in user interface and display.but they are great for day to day use.i am disappointed with my wave.anybody who want to buy this phone think twice

Is there any Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) in S8500 wave??
Also I wanted to know if there is call recording facility available??
I would like to have the above features in my new mobile..
How to make a video call from wave s8500, i didnt see any reviews based on that??

Hi guys today i will solve the problem for WAVE USER having problem to update FIRMWARE through kies and to connect ur wave very easily especially for SAURAV whos has trouble to up date his FIRMWARE
JUST UP DATE UR KIES FOR LATEST VERSION and follow the steps
What you do is this.
- Go to the program where you install Samsung KIES.
- Open te folder.
- Search those files: _rapi.dll and _ceutil.dll
- Copy both files and drop it on your dekstop.
- Now make from _rapi.dll = rapi.dll
- Now make from _ceutil.dll = ceutil.dll
- So what you did is, you removed '' _ ''
- Now take both files and drop it in the folder of KIES.
- Replace them.
- Now open Kies again and everything will work OK.
This guide is tested on Widows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
