bradburylines, 10 Jul 2010how do mute the phone when there are incoming calls?If your screen is locked, hold volume down. If your etiquette mode is on, turn your fone face (screen) down. If your screen is not locked, there is a mute button on the screen.

i know its probably a stupid question and i should know what im doing after posting how may times trying to help people out but......how the cr@p do i turn of the daily breifing app and stop it from automaticlly popping up every morning.i dont want to wake up every morning and see what the usa news is.i really dont care and the settings wont let me change to nzoom.somebody make it go away please!!!

Andrei, 10 Jul 2010where can you find the "home screen widget" and h... morethe home screen widget doesnt exsist anymore.the photos are of the original firmware that the phone had prior to release.when released with updated firmware the home screen widget was takin away.i think its cos at first the middle button was the multi task button but in the end the two where combined so there was no need to have two ways to enter the main menu from the home screen.

where can you find the "home screen widget" and how can you put it on the bottom menu bar (where the contacts and dialer widgets are)???? i don't have it on my Wave and the only way to access the main menu is by pressing the middle button :(

New Waver, 09 Jul 2010Try and get it checked from the place you bought it from. :... moremay be i am out of luck , got it from ebay. everything with samsung headphones is good only problem with other headphones is call volume no problem with music or fm.
may be as you said problem is my handset. anyhow thanks for ur reply

hi not only with apple head... moreTry and get it checked from the place you bought it from. :) It could be the problem with your handset. I dont think it would be a problem with the phone design itself, otherwise it would have been made apparent by now. Why dont you return it and exchange it for a new one ? Do it while you can !!
anyway, besides my samsung earphones I only connect it to my 4.1 speakers, i get no problems atleast there :-s
Conclusion : Get it exchanged :)

sowmi, 09 Jul 2010guys i have a doubt does this mobile comes with any softwar... moreyes it does, with 2 cds infact ! They have Samsung kies on it. But if you dont have the cds, just download kies directly from samsung's website.

[deleted post]Blimey !! I remember reading a review where the reviewer had problems with his earphones as well (his apple earphones to be precise). Try using it with some other ones and see.
And for the version you will have to type *#1234# on it. It would be really helpful if you post here the last 5 digits of the version shown. Thanks.

I mean the jack ... more my samsung head phones are working fine and volume is also good, problem is only with other headphones. regarding the firmware when i sync with samsung kies it showed firmware upgrade available and i upgraded it. i exactly dont know the version.
