I'm still satisfied my Wave until I can find the near to perfect successor soon. Samsung give same hardware to that of Wave and more:
Metal body
4' Super AMOLED Display (not in Wave)
With Stereo Loudspeaker (not in Wave)
Strong Earpiece Volume
Superior Audio quality with DnSE
Divx
Impressive battery
3G Network: HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 (not in Wave)

is s8500's browser flash support enough to play 720p video in its browser? anyone? users who have used it plse share their experience ....
and what would be the current market price of s8500?

whenever i update my samsung apps ... blue screen appear it say "de bug" duh its the 2nd time now!!!! i just hate this fone but i love the service center of samsung, but i dont want to wait for a week to fix my fone... arrggghhh ... i'll go for LG now!

i have used this phone for almost 7 months now and its been a great experience.but i dont find many useful applications + the paid app service has not started here so thats a shame.
so i need a vote:im thinking of getting lg optimus black in exchange.is this a good idea??

Now a days Samsung app what we call theme app has started getting some quality app also like file explorer
today I updated mine samsung app and now it is not having how many no of apps containing in a folder so it will be hard to count total no off apps in store :-(

Anyone using the "Daily Bible" Application?
Mine is not working well, Even I install the updated one from Apps Store. It will not open the "gospel of the day" page.

Ok people need an answer from someone who knows more than me.my mate got a wave given to him with French software locked to Orange.he unlocked it at the shop and put a Vodafone spain sim in and it didn't work.they gave him his money back and said that it is because it has a special private operator lock code.apparently one which belongs to Orange France only.sounds like bull to me but anyway.I went to another site that said the phone was still locked and got the code and instructions to do it myself to help him out.the problem is that now when you put a none Orange sim card in it doesn't ask for the unlock code and when I do it the other way (that doesn't require the asking) it doesn't work either.since the phone came back from the first shop it excepts the Vodafone sim and network as if it were unlocked but all calls straight away rejected and cut off.does anyone think they might know what the problem might be.

i'm using this phone for 7 months , i'm really satisfied with the phone, great display, good camera, excellent sound quality, excellent hardware, fast stable UI.
negatives are few applications and bad gps experience.
overall, great phone,

1 year after having this phone is a great experience .. it really a great multimedia phone... mp3 player., cam with flash, super amoled, sound quality it is all great. im contented with version 1.0
