i tried to connect to kies by disabling my antivirus and window firewall but still its not working guys plzz help me its very irritating

It amaze me sometimes how far people go to satisfy their losses!!! just return your idummy back and don't make up story about amaizing Wave, it just makes people laugh may be pick something else as a fault not that device shutting down !! come on you can do better than that, use some apps in your iTrash may be that would help you.

Nice bit of kit, but shame screen is smaller than iPhone, and res much less than iPhone, why so little internal mem??? Ok memory card but oh dear I just lost that down the side of the sofa, why so much cheap plastic in it's build ?? I do like it still, just. I think it's less likely to fall out of ur hand than an iPhone, plastic seems to grip better than glass and steel, but still feels cheap to me, I'm holding the wave now, nice kit but lacks class. But a 7 out of 10 for me.

Disabling the antivirus and firewall is not enough. You shoul also make sure there is a full moon and that you press ctrl+alt+home+escape for 19 minutes (keep looking at the moon all this time). if you are lucky, wave will connect to kies and the name of the person you love will appear on the wall. remember, keeping your eyes at the moon is the key. I love Samsung, it makes things soooo easy.

My how unfortunate. Sucks to be you.
Also re: YouTube app, it plays fine, except for a few lags now and then. I think it may have something to do with your connection. Is it on wifi?

ABC Teaser..., 02 Jul 2010sadly for people who lie, this is a way to speak, what you ... moreGuess what...the shop acknowledged the screen being faulty. looks like this is the second unit reporting this problem at the same shop. got a full refund because there were no units in stock (units came from Germany). I can e-mail the refund invoice to whoever is interested in seeing who the joker is on this forum.

Why won't kies offer to upgrade my firmware? It is now XXJF1, I hear there are JF2 and JF4 to look for... And it has worked before, the phone didn't ship with JF1.

It is just sli... moreInteresting.... then I'll try to check a few more powerpoint files, but it's really weired it couldn't load any of the previous ones. Now I see on Picsel's site (app that runs all office format files on Wave), they say that not all of the powerpoint features are supported on a mobile version. Maybe I was just that lucky that all of my powerpoint presentations used a feature that was not supported, so it couldn't load a file at all. I'll investigate into this a bit more...

This is a great phone I really want to buy this one but I still don't have the money and I will buy this after a month or two so that the phone issues will be fixed by Samsung and I will surely get the version with no or less problems.

For all you guys who r having problems with Kies connectivity with the phone....do one thing...first DISABLE THE ANTI VIRUS AND FIREWALL program on your computer then run Kies and connect your phone...now there is NO PROBLEM....
the software has some issues with the firewall programs' settings so the phone doesn't connect correctly.... Samsung should address the problem soon.....

i'm amazed by the little fanboys of some crappy phones that says that the wave is not bright enough even though the wave's screen is it's selling point.. every people who sees the wave for the first time always comment about the screen, i mean everyone, every single one of them, even people who are not Samsung fans are still amazed by crisp of it's screen..
i even tried to play a video on the wave, place the phone a couple of feet away from me, and i can still see what's happening on the video, unlike on other phones, it's already blurred..

sam, 02 Jul 2010battery will become ok after few uses/recharges. dont worry.Agreed. Your battery will be fully conditioned after a few more days.
For the first few charges, my battery run down almost in a day (dropping nearly 2 - 3% per hours of non-usage)
After a week, it is at least more decent now. Lasting from 2.5 to 3days of lite/moderate usage (battery drop ~1% every hours)
