Folks,
I bought this phone off eBay and it came from Hong Kong. Hence, European languages and characters are not supported. Is there a way to install additional languages or do I have to replace the firmware? Mine is 1005260025LIS8500DXJE9.

I'm really really sick and tired of this msg... it haunts me !!

on qwerty keyboard, just click EN key for 2~3 seconds.
(if your phone's language is different from English, other word may be displayed instead of EN)
if you did, you should see the popup menu in which you can choose other types of keyboard.
there are 4 types of keyboard such as qwerty keyboard, keypad, writing full screen, writing box.
recognition rate of writing full screen and writing is very good!!!

yusuf, 01 Jul 2010Can someone plz tell me if the phone has keypad type(yes th... moreyou can change the qwerty keypad by long pressing the EN sign at the bottom part of the pad, the one with a globe sign, and then the keyboard settings will appear, click the KEYBOARD TYPE and then select KEYPAD then click SET, afterwards it will go to the normal keypad that you like

I just recently purchased this handset and I tell you, I'm loving it! ;)
But that's possibly due to me coming out of a winmo device (i900 *shivers*)
Love the device and its design is absolutely great! Love the metal body, and it feels really rigid almost like a block.
The screen, I absolutely can not emphasise how great the screen is (once again coming from a resistive screen and normal TFT). Users would love the keyboard, i type with it just fine (although I do have slim girly fingers)
Although, I do have a question to existing Wave users out there, with the "idle" screen background, when you change it to your custom background, does your image also get cut out?

Can someone plz tell me if the phone has keypad type(yes the one with 3 letters on each key) text input?? ... personally i hate using the qwerty and i'm too used to the alpha-neumerical type text input.. the mobile store employee told me it isn't there hence the doubt.. otherwise i think the phone is terrific.. plz plz reply asap!! thanks in advance :)

I was planning to buy this phone. I'm confused between wave and omnia pro b7610. I want to know:
1. how many email accounts can i configure on this phone?
2. wat will be diff between the applications available for windows phone and this phone?
3. I want to read ebooks and edit some slides and all for some presentations, can i do that using this phone?

if you did, you should see 3 widget at once.
once just clicking + button, you can add new widget page^^

does it 3.5mm jack deliver high... morenot sure what u mean by high quality sound, but it beats any other phone i have listened to... i don't see a point in carrying another mp3 player (unless u connect it to a portable amp), just buy spare batteries, they're not too expensive.
from the earphones/headphones i've used, the 5.1 channel setting is only good for the earphones that came with the phone...
volume wise, all i can say that u'll definitely kill your hearing if you leave it on maximum... earphone wise, i'm using 1/3 of the max volume
