I have a question, which I think many may have here, Wave supports Flash 9 and so plays anything on the website with Flash 9. My question is if this is a software issue why can't simply be upgraded to flash 10.1 to play everything??? I don't understand why Wave should be stuck with 9 version of Flash?

Yes, you can DL apps even w/o the Wave. Files DLd will be in your My Documents folder.
I alresy explained FW upgrade in Kies and via Flashing. Read few post/pages down. The link for Flashing was also posted.
I have the fone 1 month now. So far, very very good. Of course there are wanna bes and sould have beens which were already posted but these are not regretable.
If you have money though, go for the Gresso-iOS4 which is $4,000.00

No I still don't have the wave but will be buying very soon, I thought to have some head start, I notice even some people start saving apps on their pc to download it to wave when they got it (can you do that?)
I am so confused with this firmware and kies thing people talking about can you please explain that?
do you have this phone yourself? what you think of it so far? sorry many questions hope its Ok!

anand, 30 Jun 2010but it says java not cmpatible with this handset how to do... moreDownload and java files (jad/jar). copy them into your fone then from there click on the files (jar or jad) anf follow the prompts. Jar files install easily. When done, the apps are found in your Games menu...

Samsung has put in a LOT if thought in many things :))))

I've downloaded and installed Kies today even if I don't have the Wave yet. LOL.
No problems in the installation (I'm using Windows 7).
Can't wait to have my Wave!!!!

i was wondering... can we replace the virtual ... moreon qwerty keyboard, just click EN for 2~3 seconds.
(if your phone's language is different from English, other word may be displayed instead of EN)
if you do, you can see the menu in which you can change other types of keyboard.
you can choose one of 4 keyboards such as qwerty keyboard, keypad, writing full screen, writing box.
recognition rate of writing full screen and writing is very good!!!

anand, 30 Jun 2010thank u how will yu open the internet brwser like dolphin... moreProtector? I dont think it is necessary. Your screen is scratch resistant (tempered glass). But you can still have a protector but not the thick ones coz it may affect touch sensitivity...

Can somebody help me with this..
Go to Settings >> Connectivity >> USB and set it to Mass Storage or Ask on connection.
Connect the cell to your PC and disconnect it and remove the cables from the cell.
Wait for few seconds.. Does it do something weird? For me, even after removing the cable, it still shows USB as connected and my battery shows a charging animation :-O

like dolphin... moreFor dolphin, just click the internet icon in the menu. Make sure you have the settings from your provider.

Bingo, 30 Jun 2010How can you install a java file in WAVE ? (file .jar)Copy jar or jad file (better both) to your fone and just click either one. It will ask you whether to install or not.
