Samsung wave: Lovely phone first touch phone i have had and really love it. I dont really use the aps as not really in to that it does have face book, social hub, email, twitter,you tube,im and all that on your main screen so handy if you like that. evev has mini diary and daily briefing. very Large screen great for videos and photos! Only thing im not to kine on is when you holding phone and move around the page (which your looking at) swings around sometimes to much. V.loud always here it ringing. All together great phone A+

i think samsung wave has few short comings though not great ...
1 it doesnt support vibration in menu ( only keypad and virtual keyboard are supported)
2 it doesnt vibrate when reciever picks the phone ( a very useful feature in my omnia hd)
otherwise the phone is superb.

s8500... moreTaht is the same massage I get. It is either no upgrades yet or that facility is not working yet.
I dont know if it is just me. Even the calendar widget in Kies is not supported by the Wave or vise versa. Any confirmation on this, please?

s8500... moreMaybe that is the latest in your region (DD Region). You can flash to the XXF1 firmware but they say not much improvement in it and you will lose you native language with the DD FW.
You mean the tethering? It will make your fone act like a modem or, it is, your fone will become a modem. If you do not have internet access for your PC, you can use this widget. But you have set your fone up with the setting of your service provided and you will be charged accordingly. Besides this, you can make use of AP functions of Wave.

anand, 30 Jun 2010i have the wave and i have the kies installedOne below has just gave you the link to flash your fone. FW or Firmware or SW Software is the compiled program that runs your fone. It is like Win, Linux, Mac, Unix, etc. for PCs. In Kies there is an icon there called Firmware Upgrade (Phone with an Arrow Up) use that to upgrade your FW. Almost always, there glitches/bugs in programs even applications and there is a need fix them. When they fix bugs they update FW that when we (owners of HW) need to upgrade or FW to get the fix. But in Kies, always upgrade. With Falshing, described in the link below, you can downgrade or upgrade... If there is something wron with my explanation, others, please help... Tnx.

fadz, 30 Jun 2010well, i dont think it'll go down that much. yet, the only t... moreno u misled me. what i have said is that when the phone gonna drop at least $50 (from $365 to $310) im gonna buy it and im expecting that in no more then 2 weeks. =D

hey guys
i was wondering... can we replace the virtual qwerty keyboard??? i prefer the virtual keypad but i cant find any options/settings to change it.
by the way thanks scoopy for the answers to my previous questions. and is there a way to put a menu background (not home screen)??? and lastly are there themes already available because i love this phone so much but i really hate the menu icons (iphone like)

B.G., 30 Jun 2010i have checked cells4u.com with BBB and they give them A(fr... morewell, i dont think it'll go down that much. yet, the only time you can perhaps pay $50 is unless you have a trade-in. like myself, i'm planning to trade-in my omnia2 16gb for this phone when time is right, i mean when the price is right. the price of omnia2 16gig right now is almost the same price as wave price.
