After trying my friend's Samsung Wave, I am indeniably astounded by the smoothness and the amazing Super AMOLED. I've been wanting the Nokia E72 White Edition. Now, I'm confused which one I should get :s I want a phone that I could use for GTD. I prefer QWERTY keypad but touchscreen is fine too. Any of you guys ever use it for business purposes beside entertainment? Is it good? I like the mini diary though.

I downloaded need for speed from UK app store. But I'm not able to install it. Whenever I connect my phone with my laptop some error message is displayed saying "Please disconnect and connect your phone again".
I'm using Win7 Home Premium and downloaded Kies from samsung website.
Any help?

May be I never talk more than 30 minutes (mobile calls are expensive here in NZ). I did have about 45 minutes of a video call once with my best mate but the call didn't drop at all.

Hi there:
I bought my Samsung Wave a fortnight ago. I did my research on the net before purchasing & I'm not disappointed. I'm satisfied with ALL EXCEPT ONE aspect of Wave. Yes, it has a superb screen & battery, exceptional camera giving excellent pictures & videos,faultless audio quality, very intuitive UI & snappy internet experience. However,it dropped calls 100% of the time if the call was >30min & voice distortion happened >50% of the time.
Fortunately, my shop gave me a replacement but ONLY one replacement here in HK. This time, calls were dropped less frequently & there is no voice distortion at all. Now, when I tested my device, I always phoned people on their fixed lines to ensure that connectivity from their end is not a problem.I also went to different locations to make calls so as to eliminate signal reception problems at a particular place.
I am baffled. Throughout the >150 pages of comments here, not one mentions dropped calls. However, what is the possibility of getting two lemons in a row? Infinitesimal. So I'm wondering if other Wave users can tell me if they have dropped calls as well for calls >30". Thx in advance.

sam, 28 Jun 2010in duabi its 2000 dhs that comes to about 25000 rs. but in ... morein dubai? you should try buying in small shops,it has the same warranty as what you get in EMAX,jumbo, etc2x..

David, 29 Jun 2010seems no one reading this!!! can someone read below and try... moreIve read all the comments and as i can say to u the Samsung Wave can run and support flash.the others must have got the first wave of the Samsung Wave =D. and with new firmware upgrades on the phone it will get more better and better.oh and for the apps u can check the samsung apps store. u got star ratings so u can see what app is most likely to be good and useful. i hope this will help u

wave can do the things those 2 phone do, COMBINED!
Media, Widgets, Flash, Multitouch, Apps,
Social integration, Super Amoled Screen, Notifications, Push Email
Document Viewer, HD recording, Video Calling *cough* in 3G!!, Divx Support, GPS, 1ghz processor,
so many!!
PS! you can hold the phone anyway you want!!!!

Any useful apps in store for wave? please tell me if you have a first hand experience for the certain apps that you used, specially UK users please.
Also does Flash player works on Wave? does it let you see the flash on most of the sites? it has been so many different comments on this so far, and one controdict the other one!!!, I am confussed, please help.

Try any online store from where you bought previously if Wave is available. Or wait for just few days Samsung is in the way to launch it in there.

this review goes for all those who are still unable to decide whether to buy wave or not and are considering gsm arena reviews
well wave supports all flash sites without any lag and all you tube videos.
games run pretty fast n smooth, no lag so far,
phone never lags.
best display in industry so far.
friendly, smooth lucid ui.
i see more n more app poppin up each day (which shows samsung commitment) bt to note tht only 10% applications are useful, rest are crap.
i would also like to put up a few questions to a few wave users:
can anyone tell me bout how to charge battery ?? i mean charging patterns n intervals n what about callibration.
should i charge cell daily even if battery is at 50% and
should i always charge ma phone to 100% or 80% to enhance battery life?
cause i m facing serious battery drainage.
guys, this forum is to help wave users n not to waste time n energy on loosers like brandon who hasnt seen world outside iphone, poor fella, god help him !!!

Take my suggestion and buy a Wave and be a smart boy not an arrogant one.
