This phone is a Gem, a complete multimedia phone. The pictures in the gallery flow so smoothly, pinch zoom very smooth, plays most vioeo formats even .MKV files (the chosen format for HD/BR movies). Just name one nokia phone that palys MKV.

I belive the phone is very capable but the 3g network in NCR is not very stable as of now. The video of the called party is sometimes very clear but most of the times it's blurred. I wish samsung launches an update or an application which displays the vioeo of the called party on full screen and other options only pop up when the screen is tapped.

Anyway u need to put the birthdays in the calendar.
2 ways u can do that: Directly go to any date in calendar..enter into it...input an ANNIVERARY
OR
go to any contact...EDIT > enter his/her b'day.
But that calendar widget and the calendar itself doesnt get synched with ur facebook profile (if at all u synch ur fb contacts to ur phone's contact list) ...for that a free app there...download nd use the app 'Bday Reminder' .

Hello ba! Your review is so so goOd! It makes me feel happy that i chose the right choice! Now i'm so proud that i'm owner of wave II. By the way, how old are you? Are you 5 or 6 years old clumsy boy? Haha! According to me, your review is so so false!almost all of it!,haha! i think you don't have the rights to be an owner of wave II 'cause you don't know how to use it, :D i guess you should switch your wave to my old nokia 3310! Hahaha! Good day ! ^^

Its preinstalled din WAVE by samsung!
Use the 'google' widget....just drag it to ur screen. Its having a MAP section inbuilt there.

AnonD-8789, 19 May 2011gps - google itself says it will not work properly on this ... moreGPS: I use GPS. I repeat I use GPS on this phone frequently. The ROUTE66 solution is not as good as NOKIA OVI but it works good enough.
GOOGLE and GPS: there is a dedicated google map widget, factory supplied, use that, it supports all ur requiremnts u mentioned...zoom..location-find..touch. It even gets synched automatically with the GPS status of the phone. U didnt explore this phone and spreading rumour..right dude? :P
TASK MANAGER: press and hold the middle (physical) button...its the task manager. ok buddy? :)
One need not be a tech freak to understand Samsung's OS (BADA u meant I guess), its simpler than atleast SYMBIAN and RIM and HTC. The problem arises when a user shifts from a low end SYMBIAN phone to any other OS' smartphone. To pluck arose u need to know how to avert the stings, rite? I guess u faced the same problem.
PC software: upgrade to latest KIES version. It supports more features (the ones u mentiond from NOKIA suite).
& finally, criticism is ok, but dont post anything if u havnt tried that or u r ignorant bout that. WAVE II is still the best fone in its range even after 5 months after its release(India). Its still ruling in the segment. Samsung's own one GALAXy (at 19000K MRP)is a close competitor, but that lacks metal body and camera flash.
