everytime i try for firmware upgrade through kies,"firmware upgrade has stopped working" window pops up..do let me know how to get rid of this & how can i successfully do firmware upgrade!!

I am a 3 weeks old user of SAMSUNG WAVE S8530 handset. I am having the following 3 queries. Please do help me out kindly.
1) settings >> memory >> memory status >> messages >> text messages >> phone 1300
Is it the maximum numbers of text messages I can save in my wave & if so is there anyways to increase the capacity??
2) After installing some 10-15 samsung apps in my wave it shows as following :
setting >> memory >> memory status >> common memory >> available 345,696K
what is the meaning of that & would not I be able to install anymore apps once that available memory is full (I am using 8GB external memory)??
3) My sent text messages seems to be automatically deleting after every 3-4 days. what may be the reason?? Eventhough I am not activating Auto delete option.

Guys Can Any1 tell ....that when ever i try to use internet through WiFi....its shows the Error DNS Fail ...why .......????

wel i did not have any password protect on it...i'l still try it again...
in the meanwhile if any one has any other solution please do help...

kiran, 22 Feb 2011hello all beautiful people der... i have just got my wav... moreme too also had same problem, while i put my used memory card in another handset. The reason is i had protected my memory card in the earlier handset using password. So just unprotect the memory card with the password using only ur nokia handset and then put it in wave 2. i hope it will work.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong here

hello all beautiful people der...
i have just got my wave2...but have a problem...
i had nokia 5800 earlier and i have retained the memory card of 8gb micro SDHC from it but when i tried using on wave2...i cannot see or locate any memory card on the memry options...
can sombody help me in this matter...wud realy appreciate it

A quick question. Can you use web-based VoIP services like
Skype and Google voice browser editions? Since VoIP apps
are not approved for on top of the BADA OS.

Hi Everyone...I am planning to buy a good featured mobile phone.
I am stuck between Samsung Wave 2 and Motorola DEFY...Both the mobiles are very good on paper with
their features displayed. I request the users of Samsung Wave2 and Motorola DEFY help me in choosing
the best mobile by sharing your experiences about your mobile phone and help me buy a good mobile.
I want to know about the following things:
1. Battery Life
2. Signal Reception
3. Music and Video (I mean what formats the mobile can play and about clarity in ear peice and
speaker, and clarity of videos played)
4. Camera (how are the pics taken in bright light and in dark using flash, and videos captured)
5. Can we install apps from websites like Getjar, Mobile9, Umnet, ZEDGE etc...
6. How is the touch screen, and keypad on screen for typing.
7. It would be good if I can check my mails also..I mean all my gmail and yahoo mail ect...
