in regards to alex_23 's concern
to activate the flash to use it as a 'torch' slide the phone up, and in the idle mode, press the volume 'up' button on the left hand side of the phone. after about two seconds, the flash should turn on even when the camera is not

Hi there,
Ive got this phone for 3-days know and all I can say is that I like her a lot.
The camera(3.2pixel) is good but it is a little bit to slow.
SMS-touch is very good to write with and you can make Smileys (good)
Slide, menu, touch and speaker is good.
But the menu is a little bit slow (thinking about the camera option)
Otherwise Samsung U600 is a good phone and i bought it for DKK. 2700,- so i think this phone is worth to look at.

Guys this is not a cheap phone it costs 380$
But compare to its feature 380$ is nothing.

this is a hot phone but the sliding thing is kinda annoying, but i still recomend this phone to all, male or female, the camera, the menu, the features,all amazing

how do you activate the flash to work as a flashligh continously? on the d900 if u press 3 times the* * button it wil stay on..is it the same case here ? thank you

and came here and saysing its not good
why dont you go on phone forum check your problem before posting here
i mean alot of people reporting problem here are like no vib+tone and stuff like that
if you were smart enough you would go on the forum and find out that those problems CAN BE FIXED WITH A FIRMWARE UPDATE AND ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE PHONE
YES SOME FIRMWARE ALLOW SOME FEATURES THAT OTHERS DONT AND VICE VERSA

because samsung phone are all about the same speed
reading from memory card is slow duh!!
do your computer read faster from your hard disk or external device??
this is a phone not a computer
did you seriously expect it to open a file in a click?

ive got the phone on O2 pay as you go.everytime i send a text it makes a stupid sound! does anyone no how to take the sound off? please help its drivin me mad. cheers!

I had the phone for over 5mounth but is start to play a bit by swithing off and so on but now is complitly off and it dosn't turn on att all is not the battry i cant inset the pin and the numbers not working any budy have any idea

Is it true that the "ribbon" or the "thing" that connects the LCD of the slide phone to its keypad gets worn out after frequent sliding (Like for a year or two using the phone and frequently sliding it)of the phone? Please answer me. My friends both have samsung e800 and they both said that the ribbon of their phones have been replaced thrice in 3 years.
