i would like to ask whether if you guys don't experience problems in this phone's User Interface. i tried it and found out that it's much slower than U600. any comments?

Hey.. I got the phone, Finally.. It's better looking then i thougt :D..
I have 1 problem, Why cant i see the EMOTICON as a figure when i get or type an SMS.. I am only able to se it as a text, like this :-) or :) ... How can i make it a figure ?...

VESA, to change the volume of the keypad tones follow these steps...
Main Menu
-Settings
-Phone Profiles
-FROM THIS SUB MENU YOU CAN EDIT ONLY THESE...
Normal
Driving
Meeting
Outdoor
Offline
Obviously you can't edit Silent :)
Highlight the profile you want to use and edit by selecting the options. From here you can set call alert type,ringtone volume, video call volume, voice call tone, video call tone, message alert and tone,message alert repetition, KEY PAD TONE, Power On/Off feature. This is the most in-depth answer you'll get or read the MANUAL :)

oh come on! grow up! this phone isnt a lumberjack. needs some delicacies here.... stop whining about the speaker. if u want any loud speaker phone go and buy some other thick phone otherwise beat it. its all about looks why nobody complains about its HSDPA? o i bet this phone is just almighty pretty, it doesnt! got high connection in it. infact, it isnt too expensive. i dont know if some of u got prank by the dealer or maybe u r just dumb enough to compare the price tag for this phone with nokia 3310. im totally Hot rite now having this u700 in my fingers. AYE!!!!

i'm from morocco, i bought this phone here, i mean the design is hot,attractive, but when it comes to the functionning, then it just sucks, the phone is expensive, cheap material, the shiny metalic (paint)sides that are just "plastic" ,come off easily,the print touch buttons get u pissed off, i mean you can't even slide it up,it's stuggling, trust me guys,a good advice? don't get it.

u700 is really good beside the speakers but ive had it for 2 weeks and im sick of it already i want a new fone. o yeah and for some reason my fone keeps turning off and on is that happening to any 1 else ???? pls reply

2CJD how could you honestly say the SEw850i is better than the samsung u700 and falsely talk about the lcd screen. The only thing the phone lacks is the speaker quality. The speaker is poor and compared the the SEw850i its laughable. Being that theres vibe with ring you will never miss a call. I haven't had my phone that long, but I would bet theres less glitches with a SAMSUNG than a SONY ERICSSON. Side by side the SAMSUNG's just better.

it has sufficient memory for some mp3s. this mob has a tv-out.i 've checked the samsung's website(www.samsungmobile.co.uk)

everytime i use the round button on the right side my finger is automatically over the touch sensitive exit button and always exits whatever im doing...very irritating!speaker is useless...cant even hear the phone ring if i am in a lound environment and the phone is in my bag. not enough memory...had to get a memory card within the first week. no games...only downloadable games which cost a bundle. before i take this phone and smash it into a wall...can anyone tell me how to change the shortcut keys...i currently have the mailbox and internet set on there.

hey guys u wanna buy this phone well not a good idea
1.lcd cracks easily its made from glass it happened to me i don't sit on it it cracked itselff
2.the speaker isn't that loud no bass as well
all in all 0 out of 100
don't buy it it lasted about one day with me
soo angry i think ill stick with my se w850i
