To the person below
...not to be rude, but no, you can't. The 00 calling code IS uniform across *europe*, but it is not accross everywhere else (even Australia still uses "0011" if you're dialling another country).
Does no one have a solution for this?? This seems like a really elementary thing.

if it's for country codes (such as +46 for sweden) you can just as easily replace the +sign with double zero like so: 0046

Guys, I am desperate.
I have a brand new U700.
I need to be able to put the " + " sign at the start of 70+ percent of the numbers I'm entering into the phone book and I can't for the life of me find a way to make the phone book do it.
The manual is worse than useless.
Can anyone help? Please??

haha sorry i take that back. U600 has an equally impressive 3.15MP camera. U700 has 3G though =)

for me personally i think U700 is better than U600. U700 may cost more but that's because it has better and more functions such as a 3.2MP camera which is awesome! Quality wise, i don't think the U600 was built as solidly as the slide cover seems quite flimsy compared to the U700.
U700 definitely looks more classy and sexy too with nicer curves =)

Wrong! The U700 can use mp3's as RINGTONES!!!!!
please do not be fooled by ppl who tell you that it is not possible. Samsung has made much progress in this area of the OS.
To Set MP3 as RINGTONE:
Menu -> Settings -> Phone Profiles -> Scroll to Profile (eg. Normal) -> Options -> Edit -> Ensure you are at the Incoming Call Menu (Handset+Speaker Icon) ->Voice Call Ringtone -> Options -> Change -> Go to where ur desired MP3 is (Remember to Scroll RIGHT if u want your Memory Card) -> Options -> Select -> Options again -> Save!!!.
U guys can work out the SMS one ;)
Thankyou and Toodles. Feel free to Post questions but i may not reply due to my other committments but i will try my best to check back.

samsung moiles don't allow for message alert ringtones to be mp3......you can only use the allocated tones built in the phone which are polyphonic...unfortunately samsung hav not yet generated that feature mp3 message alert tone
