to theone,
from what you have posted that the u600 has only 176x144 (QCIF)resolution? then take a look on what phone are you holding, maybe it is a Sony ericsson and not SAMSUNG.

I say get a Nokia 6500 slide when it comes out it has this phone beat.
Its all metal records video in vga 15fps, cif 30fps has radio 16 million screen and is much smaller with the same screen size of 2.2"
And best of all no stupid touch buttons also u can have many themes too and it has a dedicated ringtone speaker. And much more.

Hey guys I got the phone yesterday and my opionons of this phone is that its a good phone, not great, not as user friendly as the U600 but the main thing I am dissapointed with is the video recording quality, the phone has a maximum video recoding resolution of 176x144 which makes it pretty much unwatchable sadly. But I have to say the phone looks amazing and the scroller wheel in the middle of the foen is a very nice feature.

help i bought this phone and it is almost perfect except that i cant get it to connect to my computer it says that samsung pc studio doesn't support the u700

Does anyone know if you can listen to music whilst sending an sms or browsing the internet? (I know that's not possible on the Z720/Ultra Edition 13.8..)

yes, that's right-. you have HSDPA on this phone (super-3G, og 3.5G is you like) so you can achieve up to 3.6 Mbps!

the phone has a maximum video recoding resolution of 352x288, whilst the Z720 only has 176x144 as max resolution.

Just a question, does U700 have FM radio? According to NewMobile website, U700 does have FM radio. However, gsmarena states that U700 does not have FM radio? I'm just confused.. :S

not impressed with the phone. have always had sony ericsson which i have found easy to use over the years. thought i would go for something a little slicker this time and wish i hadnt. the phone is to sensitive so find that half way through typing a txt msg ur also calling ur local keebab shop. to be honest not impressed that much that giving phone to partner and going back to my brick of a sony.

Y'know - u can just dl the user manual for this phone off gsmarena and hey presto! all ur questions r answered! Like the question of the radio - doesn't mention one in the manual = no radio etc.

yes the phone can multitask... it has a separate key function on the side that allows two different applications too function at the same time.. ie: send an sms and browse the net
