Can anyone who has the phone tell what the two touch buttons in the middle are?
And how's the battery? I never trust what the companies write..

Just got this phone as an upgrade with vodafone i first tried the u600 and hated the touch screen buttons and it was so fragile but the most annoying thing was how long it took to take a photo, so i then tried the z720 which i was happy with untill i saw this was available so sent it back and glad i did this phone is wicked! looks so smart in chrome and the camera takes pictures a lot quicker than the u600 although the front buttons are touch sensitive they are not as fragile as the u600, and how cool when you slide the phone down and the light goes off you have a mirror (obviously great for all us girlies lol) i would reccommend this one!

Sorry folks. The image i linked to below was quite bad, but if you look at the picture here in gsmarena (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_u700-pictures-1852.php), youcan see that the acclaimed videocall button is not a videocall button at all - it's multitasking! =D
I heard rumors that you can listen to music whilst doing other tasks like sending SMS, is this right, anyone? That is not possible on Z720 (Ultra Edition 13.8)
Stil not sure what the other touch button though. Might be erase button or contacts or something like that.

I seriously doubt that you can reassociate the videocall button.. Samsung has used this button on other models too, like the clamshell Z500.
I'm not sure about multitasking on this phone. The Z720 (Ultra Edition 13.8) has a multitask button on the left side under the volume buttons, but it doesn't look like U700 has the same button.

Does ne1 know if u can re-associate the touch buttons? E.g. make he video call key do something else. I mean lets face it, no one uses video call neway.

The phone does not have a radio with Samsung's original software either.
And yes, the phone has six, yes SIX touch buttons. The four "unknown" buttons are only visible whilst lightened when the phone activates.

The buttons consists of right and left choise, videocall and probably an erase button or contact list or something.

This phone doesn't have a radio - which is lame. Firmware irrespective it simply doesn't have the hardware for it.

Can anyone tell me if this phone can multitask, for example, browse internet and then send an sms as well (not disconnecting the internet)

@Eli,
The Vodafone Branded U700 has no Fm Radio.
I've heard rumours that the unbranded version may have Radio but just rumours?!

from pics u700 looks alot nicer than the u600? silver chrome finish! is this true the main reason i like u700 over u600 is this reason as im not too bothered about 3g really! im on o2 didnt really wanna swap to vodafone cuz of hassle and now everyone hates the software, is it that bad? shall i just go for u600?
