My U700 is very strong...I never the problem on u700...Not like my N73, this is sucks phone...I had U700 very long time and I love this phone

If you design mania, i think you choose U700 and you must keep this phone extrem...but, for the features, you choose U600 or k770i...

Phone fine,nice and slim, slide action excellent.BUT paint peels off very quick,face scratches terribly, touch buttens too cloce to each other. Extremely frustrating to touch buttons you never intended to. Too scared to buy any Samsung in future. Samsung, you damaged your name with this below standard finishing. Do not buy this phone.

i tookcare of it the same way in a case next minute i found crackles on my phone because of the paint was ready to come off and now it looks like i ive had it for 5 years

what they say is false because this phone is great i think thats all right and if someone is confused about this phone it don,t have to be any more yust buy it it will be all right i,ll promes....

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970No...it no worst phone...I had this phone very long time and no problem in my u700...its depends your use...keep seriously and soft this phone...i'm sure, if you keep it, no problem on your u700...I'm sorry for my english speak^^

...worst phone I have ever owned!!! Yes it's true the silver peels off but as long as it's on warranty, they will replace it( cos 'they know it's a problem'? But it has broken twice in the 8 months I have owned it.
I have it on a 2 year contract and...now 10 months later the screen has 'frozen' for the second time. When I took it for repair (still under warranty) - yep...u guessed it, they told me water damage! Sort yourself out and get another phone at your own cost. If I had used or should I rather say, abused this phone by dropping it in water, or bathing with it in the bathroom or chatting whilst in the rain or drizzle, or heaven forbid, holding it whilst I was cooking... I would understand. However...none of that is the case!
I am now told that my sweaty hands????? caused it (didn't know I had sweaty hands). Why is this phone so...errr sensitive. None of my past phones have had this problem. I went for Samsung again this time cos my last phone had been Samsung and was excellent. I always sung Samsung's praises. After 4 years my old Samsung is still working(even with sweaty hands???)???? So tell me, what have I done wrong...or the 2 guys in the same queue for repairing of cellphones, who also had the U700??? Service providers say...don't touch it!!!! Who's telling the truth here? What the use of a slimline beautiful phone if it doesn't work, is supersensitive to palm moisture????? I didn't buy it to LOOK AT!

I bought the phone last year october. even tough i've had problems (LCD, speaker & peeling) with it but I still love it. i took it for repairs & all that was sorted out, it's not peeling anymore. Actually the whole top part of the phone was replaced.

It's the worst phone I've ever bought as most of the guys said. For the past 4 years, I've used a Nokia 1100(2 years), Nokia 6610i (2 years and still working) but my samsung u700 only lasted 6 months before it started digging my pocket. I had to pay nearly half it's price to repair a display fault, now the navigation and option buittons do not work, the silver painting on the side comes off. It's really a waste of money.Guys please don't spend your money on this phone it's a word of advice...
Rather buy a Nokia N73. Nokia is the best. Samsung are loosers!!

i have a problem with this phone
when i slide the phone up the upper keypad wont work!!
but when i slide it down it works fine!!
someone tell me what i can do to fix this as i love this phone to death and im not going to sell it

lolifara, 05 Oct 2008The worest phone in the world, i had it for less than a yea... moreI'm sorry because i'm dissapoint speak english...I had this phone 7-8 months ago...Its really good.The camera is good and sharp.The battery life not bad...The speaker is good when use headset.There is no problem with my U700, but the silver crom is not good. Until this time ,my phone is normal working and i love this phone very much !
