i need some suggestions.
i want to buy this phone cause i think this phone is so cool and the specification is good enough. but after i read this several opinion, i'm a little bit confused.
so what do you think? should i buy it or not??

OMG ''disappointed gurl'' , I am having the same issues with this phone! It's driving me mad! The annoying touch screen which is easily pressed by accident, the LOWEST volume you can possibly imagine, and the silver plated cover which is pealing! Anyone wishing to get this phone, DONT! I REPEAT DONT! It is a total waste of time and money. I bought it for its stylish look (Dec 07 it's sooooo not this year of course:P ) SO...think you like how it looks? Go for something else. Not a recommendation.
p.s. I'm searching for a new phone, any recommendations?

the phone is really cool and very stylish! now, its the worst phone i ever had, know why? first, the speaker volume is not so good;second,i could no longer hear all calls(incoming , outgoing), no volume on the speaker, camera hangs, silver sidings are starting to tear off.. i had this phone dec. 2007, never fell on my possession... just recently, i brought it to the repair shop to fixed all these damages! it ruined my budget!

I've read the comments and almost all of it are So
negative.. I bought my u700 last year and yes I admit I got it repaired once coz of the flex which is the common problem if you have a slide model phone not only u700. Since then, I tried to take care of it more. And the touch buttons are so sensitive, I even lost my load coz it called to someone while it was in my bag but I just used my common sense and put on password so it won' t happen again. I think this phone is cool. It defines the user.

Format your memory card, and your phone will work. Its software issues guys, doesnt take a genious to figure that out!!

the design was very cool,,but it's hard at the first use... the music was good with headset, and the camera was excellent.

i bought this phone in december 07, i reaallly lovEDD this phone. butt after the first month the silver on either side of the phone started to come off, which was really dissapointing.
recently the phone has started to freeze. i get a blank black screeen all the time now and the volume doesnt work every now and then. +the other day tha wheel didnt even work!?! can it be fixed or should i just get rid of it ?? :(

I advice all to not nuy U700
I like Samsung mobiles very much , but this phone is the first one disappointmented me from samsung phones, all last mobiles stayed with me at least for 2 years without problems but U700 has many problems during for 3 months only ,I lost my money on this phone and I'll buy another samsung mobile

I got this phone last February Samsung U700 it the worst phone I ever owned it so quiet that I cant hear it ring a lot of the time. The touch buttons go from ever not working or working super sensitive. The camera stop working after a couple of months and the phone is genially unresponsive and hard to use. To sum up save you money by a different Phone there a lot better one out there with similar spec

I got this phone last year Oct....took it after a lot of thinking nd surfing nd tryin to know all abt it before I laid my hands on it.....but, in less than a year of its usage...I think im the most disgruntled of the lot who bought this crap......the problems cant be counted, but to list a few....
1. Screen goes blank, got it repaired 4 times now.
2. The touch buttons are not responsive.
3. The color has faded.
4. Need to charge it constantly, either thru USB or thru charger.
5. The slider has become very hard.
6. The volume is so low that sumtimes I dont even know when the phone is ringing.
Its a total waste of money , pls dont even think of buying it .......

The worest phone in the world, i had it for less than a year...it hangs a lot during playing mp3's .... it does'nt connect to the net.....the silver sides desapear in less than 1 week....i changed it 3 times....i went to fix it in guarantee 6 times in less than 2 monthes for a collection of problems....sold it for more less than quarter of it's price....thank good i bought it with guarantee!!!!!!!!!!!!
