I bought this phone in january...
i loved it. but...
It does not work anymore.
such a disappointment.. and a waste of money.

i really liked the samsung u700! it was so easy to use and my little boy dropped it loads of times and it still worked, it was without a doubt the best phone i ever had! it came to a sad end when i by mistake put it through the washing machine!!

I bought this phone last year in December and now 10 months later it has broken down. I've always been a fan of Samsung phones, but have now switched to Nokia. I cannot believe that the life span of this phone has been so short. Very disappointed. Great features, great style, great navigation, poor durability...

i have this phone too , the worst phone ever i bought it last christmas and now its in the shop for repairing for the third time! its very expensive and it can easily be broken! the screen is destroyed! its very very sensitive , i think that there are other mobiles which are much better

dont buy u 700!!
if you buy it you will only throw you money!
the best phone around price of u700 is nokia 5320 xpressmusic

This unit is very disappointing, the flex card can easily be damaged. I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, now it is in the repair shop because of the flex card that was damage. The touch screen also is a problem, it is very sensitive, it's annoying. I hope i didn't bought it. The maker of this phone must do something about it.

my samsung u700 has had too many problems. i'm completely sick of it. AND im stuck in a 24 month plan with it.
it has been in repairs about 6 times.
a few times for the paint chipping
the charger wouldnt work.
it sends blank messages to people in the recent sent list (because the key pad unlocks itself)
and it freezes and the screen goes all fuzzy, like a tv when it has no signal.
im really disappointed with this phone.
and the people at the shop can't do anything but keeep sending it away.

ming ming, 27 Sep 2008I like the fone. so stylish. =) BUT, i concerned about the... morei have the samsung u700 and just after 9 months the touch pad went completely dead! If you have the guarantee you will b fine...but other than that it is an excellent phone with many features and is still one of my favourite phones!

I have been using this phone in December 2007 but in march i had to take to repairs for it's sensitive keypads. They repaired it and then the other problem started, it freezed and i couldn't do anything with it. I again took it to repairs and it was fine. Another problem started since june till now, it can't charge with it's charger but only on usb port. I really liked this phone but it's a disgrace.

i been used for this samsung U700(silver) since jan2008 but now is the forth time i sent samsung centre for repair due to the colour fade,moblie setting,the flip shaking,atena got problem,now the charger connection there got problem. but for one problem still cant be cure why the sound for this phone so soft until some times i don't notice the phone is ring?is there any way to make it better?on the same time i found that the templete for the message is empty..is there anything went wrong on my setting?how come other model like U600 they have more function compare to U700 even though we pay more for U700?the U600 have all the template, vivid message,etc compare to U700 have less function..why?

I've been using this phone for a year. It is a very stylish design. But the paint started to peel off 6 months ago. I fixed that by a sticking a silver paper layer. So it looks ok. But now I have a new problem with it. The buttons on the touch screen are not working properly. The backgrond light doesn't go off anymore on these buttons. When I want to reply a message with it, I will have to wait for at least one minute for the buttons to work. I feel like it is going to break at any time. Anyone has the same problem with this phone? How could I fix it?

BUT, i concerned about the "SENSITIVE KEY PAD". I'm afraid if in 2-3 years the "SENSITIVE KEY PAD" will broken.
if anybody know, how long the "SENSITIVE KEY PAD" can remained until broken????

i was so xcited when i got this phone much to my dismay about 2months went by and my phone starting chipping of the silver along the sides of the phone came off so i had a white samsung and this is only after 2months i thought ok nothing can go wrong now then all of the sudden my screen went away i could read messages nor send any my phone didnt want to swith on or off there was no sound and it made weird lines like its not making a contact or something was wrong with the memory - and the phone doesnt have very good sound - i would not recommend this phone to anyone
