I have just read through the comments and the general impression I got was that ppl reckon something goes wrong with the phone because of poor handling on the part of the owner. NONSENSE!!! I take really good care of my phones, but the U700 is sheer rubbish. The paint keeps peeling off, the buttons are way too sensitive (when it works) but for more than a week now, I have had to really hold the buttons in long and hard for it to work at all. The volume is just as poor. This was my second Samsung, the previous one sucked just as much. I will never, ever buy another Samsung again.

OMG you guys have no idea what your talking about..
My mum has had this phone for over a year and it has worked perfectly, i went and got one 6mths ago and its still fine..
Some people treat there phone badly and try blaming it on manufacturing..

samsung u 700 is stylish phone, but if u like quality dont buy it. im gonna sell my and buy some nokia phone, nokia is like mercedes.
ps. motorola is better then samsung for sure cuz i had some motorola phones and they are not bad.

hey guys plz help
i've got this fone when it was just one day old in market its a grerat fone but i am disappointed byu the volume, coz its verry low, and secondly i've seen many video on youtube tht U700 owners have applied themes but have showd how to....installed games in it but havent showed how to.....have installed apps in it, but havent showed hot to.....so plz guys ii've ben tryin to do this stuff since i frst bought it but fails every time
so plz guys help

Awesome phone, The Camera is great and Video calls a breeze...Have had no problems with ot at all.

look to those who have complains about this phone,u guys are either terrible at handling items or u bought an AP phone. i've had this phone for a year plus and it is still working ever so greatly. so people,it isn't the phone that's got the problem,its YOU GUYS.

Hi,
I just got a new cover replacement for my U700. I started removing the old cover, but I am now stuck at some point and don't know how to proceed. I want to make sure I don't brake anything. Does anyone have any instructions on how to replace the cover of the phone? I looked online but couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got my U700 for 3 days now, the sound is real good, the phone is very good and looks good but i must get more used to the touch bottons. But if you change the sensitivity to 1 or 2 its okay. Standard is on 3 and its to sensitive. Samsung makes great products!

yaar i have this U700 about 3 Months. Having a great experience and enjoy the multifunctions. Buttons are too sensitive , but i can manage it. Camera result is Amazing. i already compare the result with Nokia N95. and its better than that.

It's almost a year since I had the phone
and buying this phone was a big mistake. It is pilling off, screen is faulty. I had a D500 before and never had problems with.

i have the black one.. the fones okey, but the keys are too sensitive.. the sounds not bad, it just have a low volume.. the disappointing thing is... THEMES are not applicable..

u700 fans a want to know can the secondary camera take a portriate picture.
and a want to know if the flash can be use as flashlight. ASAP

I've had mine for about 6 months or so now, and yea my silver stuff on the side ended up peeling off. I got annoyed with it so took it all off an now it looks like a brand new fone, an no-one has any idea what sort it is. I think that was a manufacturing flaw they had, cus they are only selling the black ones now from memory. :)

1 year on... i now own a nokia. why?
well, the paint kept peeling. so i kept being told by samsung to take it back to the reipair centre. i did. 3 times.
that did not fix the problem so i complained to higher management at samsung hq in australia and they gave me a brand new replacement samsung phone.
that's gone straight to ebay to help pay for a portion of my brand new nokia n95 -there was no way i was going to let myself be stuffed around by samsung again.
funny thing is, i probably would have kept the phone if it wasn't for the peeling problem... it ran perfectly fine otherwise.

its a very bad handset as the cover scratched usually with out any reason .and its sound is very low ,and the battary life is very short .
i advise any one dont pay any it
