The first time I brought this phone 3 months ago I was so happy. It looked good and had fun features. Then I noticed that there is only one ringtone for text messages and you can't change it. Unless you hold your hand frozen still while taking a pic, it comes out a little blurry and worst of all on each side of the screen where it looks like its metal (actually it plastic) the paint has started chipping off really bad and now my phone looks really cheap...soo gutted. I did my best to keep it in good condition even kept it in a mobile case. I wish now I brought another model.....

this phone is sooo gorgeous!!! but can anyone tell me how to activate the emoticons? Not the boring ones, but the one with the cartoon pictures. i used to have samsung d520, and it has that features....

the u700 is the stupidist, most unfunctional phone available. it lacks in important features, it is slow and unresponsive and its build quality is pathetic.
if u do not already own a u700, dont buy it.
if u do own one u might as well throw it away

i accidentally bumped into sum onlooker, and when i fixed myself up, i saw this samsung u700, and foun myself in huge awe!! i said to myself, i need to have this, too bad money isn't enough... hehehe

i've bought this new samsung U700 and it's wonderfull,cute amazing . BUT goch 1st i didnot find any games ?????"? is it possible .. and 2nd i didnt know HOW to Install games to my Phone "TYpe of file " and i tried many times but it aid this file is not Supotred ????
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee can any one help and tell me how and there you have my e-mail adresss ..

This phone i would think would be one of the best buys out there. I own a D900 Carbon Edition, part of the Ultra Edition 1. This one here has everything that the D900 didn't. This is an amazing device.

Hi there, I just bought this phone yesterday.
Its ultra slim design fits - and it's cool! Pros: the capacity is huge when fitted with the chip; when messaging, you can easily locate any contact and include more than one; this phone has the capability to remember numbers and show it just after you type in the first few only; the turner button allows you to turn clockwise and anti-clockwise to navigate, without a hassle to keep pressing the up-down-left-right buttons; also, the camera is built in such a way that no longer do you need to face the back of the phone to take a picture of yourself, you can directly hold the front of the phone - **chi-cat**, and you got it!
Cons: It's easy to touch other touch-screen buttons when moving your thumb around the phone - but that can be managed with after using the phone for some time.

where do you download these games and how do you install them? cause my u700 doesn't seem to support .jar or .jad files. does anyone have this problem too? any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hey guys. I have the phone and I love it. Only prob is when it's not locked it's very easy to bump the touch pad and accidently call someone!

I am on my second one of these phone, my first it took back after one week as it has software problems, no worries they swapped it straight over for another one. however now 2 months old all the silver ling around the face/screen is peeling off and it looks crap!! overall what the phone has to offer is fairly good, but it is quite basic as well. I must say i love samsung phones and the best phone by them i had was the d900. Now i am looking for another phone and not sure what to go with after being let down with the u700

I can not do mxit or mig33 on my U700.
And when i go no the internet the memorie is to small.
I think my ould D600 where better.

I'm thinking of buying the samsung u700.
Unlike my current phone, nokia 6230, can you send a single text message to more than one number at the same time, without having to scroll down through all numbers?

GMASK is a business company that uses a thin plastic whether colored, printed or transparent, to wrap a unit, can be a cellphone, laptops, pda, or any gadgets you want. they have a lot of stalls located in major malls here in the philippines. i've read that there's also GMASK in Singapore. it cost me about P795 ($6-$7) to wrap the whole of my u700. one wouldn't notice in looks and feel that my unit was gmasked :)

My bluetooth needs to be activated every time I get into my car although I have the bluetooth on all the time. If you are in and out of the car this is annoying. Does anyone know how I can get it just to activate automatically when I get into car? My previous phone Motorolo used to just engage the bluetooth when ever I entered the car.

if its made of chrome metal then its totally the best design phone
but it is just made of plastic material and easily peel off, thats not cool
