i have had the u900 5 days and i love the phone,the camera,menu,touch screen and looks are all fantastic, the only downfalls to this phone are
1--can hardly hear person on other end of phone,especially when any background noise,even just walking outside or in supermarket.
2--battery life does not last a full day,i have had to charge it every night and not using it much.
think i will be sending it back as i would rather have a phone that works than one that looks good!!!!!!

the zoom is on the left of the phone by the charger connection, with zoom in and out, you can hold down or tap to zoom.

If I were you I would take it back to where you baught it and ask for a replacment

i just got the phone. still trying to get a hang of it. there's one problem that i have though. i noticed my phone keeps lighting up every minute or so even when it's locked and untouched. i believe it's eating up my battery life everytime it lights up. is there any way to stop it from happening?

I ordered mine from CPW today in silver. I think the silver version looks a lot better. I can't wait to get it. I'll post my opinions once I've had a play around with it.

de-activating 3g can double your time more often than not,step 1 down from maxlight setting and decrease backtime length of time display stays on..Still a reasonable battery life fron such a slim device

On the main screen my phone's right bottun is the wap. Is there any way, to change that?

Bought this phone a few days ago and love it, only problem I am finding is the battery life is very poor (think I must have a bad one) It is only lasting 2 days and that is with very little use. I have now tried turning the vibration off to see if that helps. I have also been told that having 3G turned on will drain it but I can't find how to turn it off. I even phoned my supplier who told me what to do but it still seems to be turned on. Anyone know how to turn it off? No problems at all with the volume and I am hard of hearing. In fact I have turned the volume down!

is it just my phone or does every samsung soul have very low volume when playing music out loud...and does anyone know how to delete the ringtones that come in the way of the music player please...thanks

In most dedicated camcorders/cameras they have screens of 120,000 pixels or more.The qvga of 80% of most mobiles is 76800 pixels and thats why photos look better and crisper on the lcd screens of dedicated devices but why??,,i looked up specs of my dads cannon camcorder because the lifelikeness of photos at only 0.8 megapixel and wondered WHY? but the specs said 2 inch screen, 12 bit polysilicon 120,000 pixel lcd display so even the colours are only 4096 colour?? So it must be the pixel count,,we want more denser screens please not more colours...
