Alex, In phone profiles when you change any of the phone sounds (i.e. message alert repetition) did you then go through to options and select save, a mistake I made the first time.

I'm on vodafone which did give me the flash card ......
I can take up to 60mins video.....must admit you seem to be unlucky as my alarms work great and my msg alert keeps on going....... as for a replacement as it's a great little phone..... Jan

I've had the phone for about a week now. It's cool, but very temperamental.
The alarm works as and when it feels like it.
The message tone sounds only once despite me having it set to periodic and I agree with the review which mentioned only a short memory for taking videos (mine will only last a measly 15 - 20 seconds!)
I'm not stupid, and like messing around with gadgets so I might be able to sort out these issues shortly.. but at the moment the phone, and it having it's own personality is winding me up!
Does anybody know any decent sites for MP3 tones for this phone? The software CD supplied with the phone doesn't work on my PC either so I'm not able to transfer music.
In my opinion, if I can manage to get the settings right and the phone to work as it should.. this phone is brilliant. The features are cool and the display and camera are clear (despite the missing flash).
O2 does not supply a memory card (transflash or whatever) Just so you know.
If anyone can help out with any of the above I’d be very grateful.

How can play the mp3 player when it,s closed?
i mean don,t easy like Sumsung E720 model?
is it now on sale? and. is Sumsung Z500 play radio?

kien i have just downloaded this from samsung but also cannot get it to work i am off work today so will have a play to see if i can get it to work

sam great phone the z500 yes can hold mp3 and use them as ringtones mine came with a 32mb flash card.

im getting a samsung z500 tomoro delivered by vodafone, this is because i need a new phone and i ordered the d500 but they sent back saying they have stopped selling that and they will deliver a z500 which is the updated d500 model.
I just wanted the opinion of the phone of an owner of this model so i know whether there are any faults or problems and what great features it has that stand out???
does it hold mp3 songs?

Has anyone managed to get a Z500V (UK Vodafone) to connect to the Samsung PC Studio (PIM) downloaded from the Samsung website rather than the limited functionality Vodafone version? (using USB cable or bluetooth).

MY Z500 orders the message mby type, then by date (date is user defined). Does anyone how can I define only by date.
I also have a strange problem in date. Every date I have to shift 1 day less on the calendar.

I have now got vibrate to work, this is a great phone, so clear when speaking and can do everything and more than i wanted, its just having the time to work out how it works.
