I think this is a very good phone. I had a Samsung a few years back and I hated it. It had almost no aplications not even bluetooth, but this is different. It has almost all the features this phones have nowadays.
The only problem is the battery. I bought it yesterday and charged it all night and it is already without battery. I guess this is something everyone is complainig, but besides this it becomes very hot (when I have it in my jeans I have to put it with the sub-LCD next to my legs).

I am no going to try to convert .wav and .mp3
to .mmf (midi) to change the message tones...
For those interested the program is called smaf from Yamaha... shareware!

It is a really good phone. But just to warn you, it has an mp3 player, but its not really built to be one that you listen to all the time. its only really used to have cool, funky ringtones and not really built to listen to music all day. The fact that it has only around 50mb of memory shows that and your battery will also drain quite fast... Chances are you already have an mp3 player anyway... If you use it just as a phone (without messing around with it all day) the battery is actually surprising good... You'll notice that in a few weeks when you'll have stopped playing with it... Otherwse, i am really impressed with video calling... i didnt think i wud be... Also if you dont use video calling much, your better off turning UTMS off (aswell as bluetooth) to conserve bettery... Well... enough said... GO AND BUY THIS PHONE ITS UNREAL!!!

I'm also pleased with the phone, except for the battery issue. With to video calls, the battery goes down. Is there some way of avoiding this? Are there available in the market other better batteries?

Hello. Im from Slovakia but I bought this fone in Ireland - my soft: ZV10BUEI3. The phone is great, only the problem with downloading java games from pc and the battery are a bit dissapointing....but in overall im very pleased. Mp3 player:I have a State of trance mix in the phone. it is about 30mb in mp4 but was about 140mb in Mp3 and there is nearly no difference in quality!!

                    Answer to Jeffrey

The code is some kind of format the phone memory. If you read what's written after the code, you'll see that i've warned that by inputting the code, everything from memory will be erased.

                      Hi Rogerio,

What is the special code you have input? I have accidently cleared the memory, so that pics, ringtone, videos and game demos are gone. Is there anyway to bring it back? EG. there were 28 pics not only 2, 30 ringtone became 5 ...

                      Thanks, Jeffrey

I am finding that my battery is now almost behaving like it should...the top 1/3 is now lasting longer and the battery is now lasting typically 4 days. Must mean that either the battery indicator is learning how long the battery is lasting and is adjusting or that the battery is now working more fully.

Either way, I am much happier with the battery life now.

The phone is nice to look at but send 10 texts and make half a dozen calls on a full battery and your battery is finished, thats nothing short of a disgrace.

                            Answer to agirg

Hi there. I solved my problem by taking it to Vodafone Technical Support. I'm from Portugal, and they solved the problem in 2 hours. Now, i don't know if wherever you're from, they have similar service.

Anyway, i found out in a spanish forum, that another person had the same problem. He7She solved the problem by rebooting the phone (Not the Master Reset from Settings>Memory Setting>Phone Memory menu), but by inputting the code: *2767*3855# BUT, this code will DELETE everything you have on the phone, except the contents that came from factory.

                                My software version is ZV10BUEJ7.
How do you solved the problem with the stop of the phone when you try to use Vodafone Live or other wap or web sites? I have the same problem with mine.

                                  Hi,
                                  Answer for Fulgor:
Go to Menu->Settings->Connectivity->Network Mode and select 'GSM 900/1800'. 'UMTS' is for 3G and if you select 'Automatic' and you're in the 3G coverage area the phone will also pick up 3G network.
                                  Hope that helps.

                                    Yo Joe,
                                    Follow this:
                                    Go to menu
                                    Files
                                    sounds and ringtones
                                    play the tone you want
                                    press down
                                    options
                                    set as
                                    voice ringtone

Anyone know how to put tones for the messages instead of poly?

                                    Cheers

                                      Hi everybody.
This mobile is great, although the battery runs short, I managed to convert audio tracks to mp4 (.aac) and it's awesome...
For those you don't know, mp4 has much more quality than mp3 (at an higher bit rate) and the file compression is much bigger...
I managed to have a full album (43m) in 5/6 Mb... and since the sofware does not allow to install java games, I have deleted them in order to have space for music...
                                      Cheers!
P.S.: does anyone know how can I deactivate the 3G in order to save battery?
