Hey Kenny, i know how you feel aye, I was looking at the Nokia N70 or 6280 but then i went off that when i found out that it has a three logo on it. So what i have decided to do is wait until the Nokia N91, I just hope that the price dosnt put me off!! What phones are you looking at? i sold my 903 for more than what i paid for it... so im happy! Look forward to your reply.

Hey Michael, there is no way to download the MMS or SMS from the phone sorry. This was a function on the Sharp GX25 and GX30 but not on the Sharp 703 902 or 903. Quite a good function ehh!!
There is a function the is always a good function to turn off and that is Suround Sound, This almost splits the sound in half.
I no longer have my 903 :( but i will allways to my best for help

to the people who diss the camera e.g it not a quality 3.2 meg pxl , this fone is best for video recording and the picures when downloading on the internet are excellent so theyy wont reduce the price of this fone which is good because i dont like people having the same handset as me so for u doubters , go buy a 6230i and be grateful with nokia rubbish

QUESTION: my phone keeps turning off by itself.. does that mean i have to change the battery.. it is always fully charged when it's just automatically goes off.
and does the japanese version come with mp3?

Hi there, Sharp SX833 and Sharp 903, there aint much difference. Really the actual hardware of the 903SH is cheeper and they come in 3 different colours from Japan, and SX833 only comes in the red. SX833 has a very ugly interface, also you cant set a MP3 as a ringtone and it will allways try to load up Smartone-vodafone WAP site if you use the phone outside of china. Therefore i do recomend the 903SH UK hardware version, This phone has an unclutted keypad. Bug free and no limitations software. Really the only thing better about the Jap firmware is that you can 1) change the themes 2) Remove service providor of the standby screen and 3) displays the time up by the battery when using the phone like in MSG's. Overall i do recomend the 903SH UK Hardware with the 903 Euro firmware on it. or... 903SH Jap hardware with 903 Euro firmware loaded onto the phone. I guess that by buying the Jap 903 you have a choice of 3 different colours and then have the phone flashed into UK if you wanted to. Thanks Timmy

Great phone. but the internal memory is too small. and also it didnt play mp3 ringtones. so i got it fully unlocked and flashed the software to SX833. great great great!

i am speaking of my experience with the phone, its my personal "review" it is the 903 model. For a start the phone IS huge, for that size it should have a major internal hard drive, not 8mb of shared memory. Come on u can't deny its a massive phone, there is just not enough room in my pants for that :-O ... you are praising the camera like its something so great, but as a user of the handset i know first hand this camera does not behave like a decent 3mp camera. I personally think the price tag should be split in half, no aspects of this phone are credable of such a heavy price tag, you can buy a very good phone and a much better camera for the price of this phone. i think people who come on here a year after purchasing the phone just to observe the reviews are expecting feedback of a negative nature and are attempting to hide their own buyers remorse while maintaining their own personal issues or regrets about purchasing the phone. :P

Battery Problems?? I decided to do a test on mine... i Fully Drained and Fully Charged overnight with the phone off. I can easily say that i get 5 days from my 903SH battery. I use my phone for TXTing and MP3 and Calling. I use the MP3 most nights and calling every day. TXTing really on the weekends only. I take a few pics but dont use that all the time. So i cant see where all these faults are coming from? Also my phone isnt slow at all, that SX833 firmware is slow as a dog if thats what you are getting mixed up with? and freezes when reading the internal memory and miniSD. well only on some SX833... Not all of them. So i really dont think that anyone can judge the actual phone it'self unless you hava Sharp 903SH euro firmware. No software limitations. but you must remember also that this isnt a Symbian phone.... therefore none of this 3rd party stuff. 903SH is a great phone!! If you are thining about buying this.... DO, (with UK firmware or SX833 if you can) if you dont like...... um... Ill eat my hat!!! lol, C ya... TIMMY! Go Reno

I'm wondering which phone Michael is talking about. And which phone was he talking about that is any better than 903? Give us one so maybe we can have a check. Is it a 3G phone? Well no 3G phones' battery will last more than 3 days even on standby. I have seen most of the latest models of 3G mobiles nowadays but until now I can't even think of having any other than 903(so far). I agree that the phone is not the problem here. The users maybe. I am really getting pissed off by those who complain about 903 features and functions that I can't see on mine. Is there really a better phone that I am not aware of or these people are just stupid and ignorant about today's phones.

just because you dont know how to use the phone dont burry it. Slow???? the phone works just fine and btw i have it for a year and it never ever froze for any reason. As for the camera is the best you can get from a phone and the auto focus is great if you compare it with any other phones. and yes it takes some time to save a '3.2 megapix' photo!!!the phone is not the problem here....
