Hi Neal. I was very2 sure Timmy would answer your query b4 I could as he's(I thought)the most experienced user of 903 especially flashing the s/w.
And to Timmy and KShin...tnx for enlighting everybody that it's not only me who cherish 903. If the three of us can enjoy it, sure others can, too.

be praised to 903 and reno.... i strongly agree with you.... those that thinks this phone is crap = they only use less than 50% of the phone capability... for me... i cant use the live tv as my country doesnt sell this phone... (its and export phone for me rare phone in my country and 3G is expensive) so thats y i cant use the max capability... BUT !!!! it still outwin all other phones!!! or rather 903sh isnt a phone... my frens all envy me ... both me and my brother are proud owners of this phone... woohoo!!!!.... anyone who needs info on this phone capability can feel free to ask reno and me(i suppose i can help abit thou i got this phone for only 1mth)... cheers to all 903 users and hope the only phones we upgrade to are 904 and 905 (heard rumors that 904 can only be use in japan) dont this any other brands can outbid this phone 1 year down the road...

Hey reno!! you are such a hero, you put every one right on this forum, People dont quite realise what an amazing piece of equiptment that they have in their hands when they hold the all mighty Sharp 903, People, have a think about this, If sharp were not good phones do you think that such a HUGE international company such as Vodafone would snatch up this line of phones and brand them with their network?? seriously, Vodafone arent dumb, they check the phones and develop them for the network so they get the most possible from the handset to supply to you.. the customer. EVERY day i look at my 903 and think to myself... man, what a AWESOME piece of equiptment that i carry with me throughout the day, as i plug in my earphones and fire up the Media Player and choose my music to listen to on the way to work, i think... man, why do people waste their time with an iPod?? I get to work and conect my phone via bluetooth and use it for the high data speeds and to view/edit my contacts. I make phone calls and are proud to hold this big allmighty phone to my ear. This phone serves me well, if i had it my way, these phones would be as cheep as chips and everyone could take a bite of what Sharp with Vodafone have to offer us. Go Sharp 903!! You rock, if you are thinking about buying this phone and are not 100% sure that you are making the right decision towards such an awesome phone, I challenge you to buy it, have a play with it, i can almost assure you that it will not let you down, All the best... Timmy, a LOYAL 903 user to the cows come home!!! or the Sharp 904 hehehehe

In some forum they boast that their phone is the BEST!!! I challenge anyone with the newest or any phone of today to tell that in front of my face. I don't think they would have the guts to take their phones out of their pockets if they see my 903.

If GSMArena would be generous to allow, you can try the website given by KShin http://republika.pl/sharp902 for some free exciting games(few pages back). You can't transfer games by BT or other means. Well I don't know if others have any idea but I can't do it on mine as I did tried it with my other Sharp phone. Regarding video playback, video files should be converted to the specific format supported by any phone and 903 has the software that could be bought in ebay(UK)to do this. More complicated than Nokia Multimedia Converter but much better results.
I must apologise if I get very sensitive easily when anyone criticise 903 as I don't experience what they are talking about and I haven't heard of any from UK version users. There are some acceptable problems in 903 like the sound level and ringtone but there are easy solutions to them which have been covered in this forum many times in previous pages. Buy the software that's costlier as it really works. Sorry Jon...

People from as far as New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong have asked help, complained, moaned about their difficulty with their 903. But I know they still love the phone- like Timmy who sold and bought the UK version. Why do you think so. And what about its price? Why is it that it's still the costliest phone till now? Don't you think Jon that it's because of the quality? Why they would put such a high price on a "difficult to handle" phone Jon? Even SEW900i-such a high class phone and much newer-is much much cheaper than 903.
I thank GSM moderators in letting me express my honest opinion and not deleting my post even for the time being.

I can PROUDLY say that 903 is the best phone especially when it comes to DVD playback. No one can come close to it. I have seen almost all video playbacks of different brands. People(not only me)used to say this phone's resolution is absolutely fantastic. I have many colleagues with all types of mobiles and they can only look at my 903 in envy when I play DVDs and watch SKY TV on it. But they can't own 903 Jon. Because they don't know and they don't like how to make the best use of it. And you are like them Jon that's why you purchased Nokia N90.

Just like the 903, I would find games and download them to it by wap and that's it. I can enjoy them. No conversion. You need converters in order to view videos on any mobiles(even on your sony erikson). Theres no mobile in the world that plays video directly from any computers. Your problem is you don't know how to get the phone work for you to enjoy it because you only use the phone according to what the manual says. No phone today can play DVD video in FULL SCREEN except 902 and 903 and in stereo. That's why you don't like 903 Jon. You can't harness the exciting features of it because you prefer the easy to use SEs and Nokias. I hope you understand now what I mean by the "elite"

To Jesse.
Unfortunately No. Files go to handset memory first then you can move or copy them to miniSD.

to reno: a phone should work for you no the opposite, you working for the phone. i used to have a sony ericsson s700i. i would find games, downloaded them to my pc and then to the phone and the same with my mp3s. no converters needed or searching ways to transfer them to the phone. surely there is no comparison between the capabilities of the 2 phones but sharp isn't exactly the most easy phone to handle. like you said is only for the elite!!!!!(whatever that means).

Gina. The *.mmf file connot more then 300kb. For the *.mp3, i think that the version that you used is same like mine. Even that you convert it to *.mp3LAME you also can't used it as ringing tone.

Hiyo. is there anyone that can help me thru struggles? i been checking up with all the previous post about Ringtone. Even though i did follow the steps from converting Mp3 to wav. then MMF. after i put it back to my memory card and try to play it off with the phone, it doesn't have music on at all. even when i try to assign it as a ringtone, the category of sound gallery turn grey that doesn't let me select it. Is there any helper out there than can give me a hand? wuwuwuwu >___
