Hi Reno,
I took your advice and use dbpoweramp to convert a shortened wav file to mp3 for ringtone, but it still gave me the "Can not assign, due to illegal file" message. The mp3 file I've used is less than 1 mb. Is it because the settings in dbpoweramp? I had it set as: Converting 1 file to "Mp3 (Lame)", Channels "joint stereo", Frequency "[as source]", Preset quality "Alt preset standard". Is there any else missing? Thanks for your help again...

Hi, It is good phone but have some software problem due to which it gets hang sometime. While taking photographs on auto focus picture quality is not so good but making vedio has no match it is of very good quality.
I am not able to use this mobile at night as I dont know whether this mobile have key pad light or not. If someone knows pl help me to get it activated

im trying to format my miniSD using my phone. it ask me for the headset code? what is the code? where do i find it?

Hi. You'll need a 3.5 audio adaptor(not supplied) to use your RCA cable. You can find one on ebay or amazon.com. The 903 Euro version has an accompanied tv cable which you can use to connect the phone to a tv or stereo. This has been answered in this forum before.

Hey guys, I work in the mobile industry and I have to say this is the best and coolest mobile I have ever used. I just rocks! Definately the best 3G phone on the market in New Zealand to date. I just have one problem - I can't seem to get the RCA cable to work so I can play my music through the TV/stereo. Is there a special setting on the phone. Any ideas?

Hi Barry. Oh sorry I forgot to tell you. When you shortened the Mp3 by any program, though they appear as Mp3, no longer they are. Reconvert them to Mp3(or AAC) by dbpoweramp. If still they don't work, shorten them further a little bit more and reconvert them before you set them as ringtone.

Hi Barry. You have to move the MP3 file to the handset memory in order to set it as ringtone. Just highlight the file>Options>Advanced>Move or Copy>click on the Handset tab. I hope these can help you.

Does anyone know how to set a MP3 into ringtone (already shortened to less than 3MB stored in the memory card under the sound & ringtone folder)? Under Assign Tone, the "Sound Gallery" is greyed out so I can't select it from my memory card. Can you help? Thanks in advance!

excuse me, is there any quicker way to make mp3 for ringtone from pc? n is it possible to send music or image files thru bluetooth? mine is sx833, n i wondr what is the max minisd i can use . thx

now every one listen. the way to but music videos and pictures on the 903 is like dis. when u put the mini sd card into ur computer there will be a file saying private open that then open vodaphone file open dat. then there will be folders saying music pictures sound place them in the file there its done!!!!!!

And when you transfer songs to the phone, make sure they go to the memory card and you must see on the memory card if the file is there. It might be that your song went to the phone memory and it has only 6MB of memory which is roughly 2 full MP3 songs, hence error message "insuficient memory".

Hi Yfdg. Try format the card using your phone. Go to Connectivity>Memory card>Format card. It might work. Just like "the brain recognizing it's own nerves" if you know what I mean.

Hey Phil if you want sharp 903 to have 850 band get the asian market version and the good part is they got it unlocked so you can do soooo much more.
