I bought two of these and my wife decided it is too big for her. No big deal. Took them to a dealer and had the HK software installed - 1 hr and 20 CAD later, all my problems with this phone went away.

Hi All.... Need some help here... I have actually purchase V903 from Bangkok about 2 days ago, but unfortunately, when I try to send something via bluetooth, the phone actually promt me asking for authorisation code? Can anyone help me in this?

On the other side, its there anyway that I can increase the ringtone volume louder? The ringtone is too soft....

Well done Timmy. Try to explore more. As the guy said about xillisoft, it's worth a try. He's right. Why pay when u can have it for free. The buttomline is it is true that this phone has something better than Nokias et.al. Never felt happier now that I know some people really proving I was right buying this phone. Thanks folks

            hello...

guys i didnt have the phone yet and i already know more than most of u !!!

there are 3 versions of this phone.... the UK and the HK witch are fully unclocked and dont have any problems ..... such as the mp3 or the mp3 as a ringtone .....

but the ones with the jp version beta unlocked ( witch are most of u ! ) have some problems

to well ..... i cant believe u paied all this money and u dont know the pugs in the software !!!!!!

yes u dont have a T9 in the jp version cuz basicly and obviously this version wasnt suppose to leave japan ..... ! its beta unlocked and i think u already did a master reset thats why u have problems...

and if u tried reading for a while u will find out that the beta unlocked has some probles like

1- cant do a master reset or u will lose alot

2- each time the phone turns off ur keypad light will go of and u will lose ur sound sittings

            3- soft power button.....

i am sorry u didnt read b4 u get it... but no one learn for free :)

            ==================================

            THE FULL SCREEN MOVIES :-
            ------------------------

guys guys guys..... why buying a software from ebay to convert ur videos !!!!! for the love of god REAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDD ... and u will find a like to the 3gp converter that will convert ur films into asf format with 15frams\sec. and it will be played full on ur screen adn for free too !!!!

            ----------------------------

for the mp3 playing..... look for xilsoft converter..... with it ... u can convert movies into 3gp that will make u use them as VIDEOTONES.... u can convert mp3 to AAC . and its playable on the 903 japanese version

903SH is not for an impatient dummy. But it is for a dummy who wants to dig deeper to discover its full potential and willing to spend a little bit amount of money. If u don't have a computer I don't think you can enjoy this phone in full.

And for those who have 903 already and would like to harness its "hidden" quality(dvd and video playback), you can ask andrewreid@f2s.com aka commander spike in ebay.co.uk. He has the ultimate software for this. Some people do have their own tricks but the one i bought from him is less complicated. I can't guarantee any other than him. I hope you can have what i am enjoying right now. Its hard work a wee bit but its worth it.

To Will. It's unfair to discredit the phone just because you got problems with yours. I really can't believe ur claims as I dont have any problems at all with mine. I don't know who made your 903 and from where did you buy it but mine is having all the features as advertised and functioning well as the other nokias do. In fact the camera is incomparable to any of todays latest models. In addition, I don't think they can match 903's dvd video playback quality plus 3D surround sound. Anyway, 903 i think is not for one who is a Nokia user. Why is it that Nokias price easily drops in just a matter of few months and 902 still so expensive until now and what more for 903??? The makers of 903 wouldn't have put a high price on it for nothing. I think the problems are on the users and not on the phone. I can check its memory status in just a fraction of a second whether it is phone's or mem card's. We cannot expect a longer batt life with any 3G phone whether 903 or Nokia or Moto. They use a lot of power because of their in-built modems not to mention the power they need for big screen and 3D stereo phones like the 903. People of the UK please don't listen to Will as yet. Go to any dealer and ask for a demo and decide yourself.

It is worth buying, it is because you still have the test-unlock firmware. Wait a few more weeks, or months, maybe even year until they release the new firmware. So dont start assuming things. The phone wasn't even supposed to be released here in the first place.

Something worthy sharing about the video playback. When video files are already on the phone and they work fine, and when I moved them back to my computer for storing it for future use. When I get them back to the phone some of them don't play in full anymore. They stopped at some place where an error seems to have happened during movement of the files. I think they need a reconvertion on Media Stage program. Thanks for reading. I know some good users out there would have interest in waht I am trying to say. I will keep sharing what I enjoy with this phone. Thanks

I found out another thing today. MP3s in full can be set as ringtones if they are in handset memory. No need for shortening or converting. It only stopped when the phone disconnected the call after 2 minutes of play without answering. Who would wait for 2 minutes to answer the phone in their pockets anyway. No need for audio editing tools. Sorry for my previous post about this.

Hi Timmy. Im sorry about your probs but I don't have those what u said in my phone. It works as any other phone the only thing different is the cancel/erase button is in the middle just below the nav key. I can play mp3s as they are after i move them from my computer downloaded from my P2P network. Im really tatally amazed with ur problems. Seems like you are telling a different phone. Now i can play dvds and music videos in full screen. And the mp3s are just fine. No need to convert to any other format. I got mine from Vodafone UK on a contract. I really am sorry Timmy but i must say u might have gotten the wrong version of 903 SH. DVD playback in vivid colour and sounds great with headset.
