plz can any 1 tell me how to make this phone recieve the incoming msgs(like bluetooth msgs ) on the memory card?

I have just sold my SX1 after using it for 5 months, dont buy this phone, It is poorly engineered, the buttons and finally the joy stick stopped working, the phone would freeze up, it has no features that are worth mentioning. It is a failure.

Wonderful mobile and very much attractive.
According to the functions it provide it is very good and also very much cheaper. I want to buy this mobile so any body knows about the camera results for SX1 please tell me.

I love the phone. I've loved it ever since its realease; and I can't wait to get one. But money puts a go-slow to every dream. Oh, my SX1.

i can't use this phone and probably all sx1 phones were corrupted..!!!
and always do the same thing...!!!
-it can't play .wav regularly sometimes ring, sometimes not... audio out has a serious problem..!!!
+ i prefer to use FW 14..!! but i have several problem...!!!
- first; keypad..!! i can't write message easily and also quickly :o(
- second; joystick is useless because always slippery
- third; for sale sx1 only 300$

Wondeful phone =D I've got myself a black version. Not a McLaren one I suppose as there's no indication, yet to see the real ice blue one yet. =D But I love my black one hehe.

You can get original and OEM covers for SX1 at http://www.mobiltec24.de/. They have loads of accessories for SX1. I have shopped there myself and can recommend them.

anyone know isit possible for sx1 to change another cover/screen? cos mine juz got srcatch quite badly by my cousin during cny. if can, roughly how much? if not, wat can i do instead?

Just brought mine. Black color, a real beauty. Mine was manufactured in Germany, in Dec 2004, with CD Software ver 2.0. Have not experience any problems mentioned by other user. I guess with one year after the release date, Siemens would have solved both the hardware and software problem. It is a great phone, esp the solid mp3 feature (better than my other dedicated player). Price is also much affordable now.

Hi, I have a suggestion: all of u who've had problems with the SX1 pls check where it was manufactured. The same for everyone who is happy with it. By doing so maybe we can see if that has something to do with it or not. What do you say?

Where did you get FW15?The Siemens website only has FW12 available.

Most amazing phone ever. The SX1 is way ahead of its time with a rich multimedia-focused feature set, great camera quality and crystal clear stereo output.
Reception and voice-clarity is top notch, although this is network dependant.
The latest firmware (FW15) has solved the loudness (or should i say softness) issue with the speaker that most people here complain about.
Software issues, OS instability and crashes that other's claim are by and large caused by installing pirated or unsupported applications/games. Believe me, this will happen with every other smartphone out there and is not exclusive to Siemens. Try installing a bunch of apps into any N7610 or N6600 and it'll grind to a halt as well. To maintain rock-solid stability, always reformat the phone and MMC after updating to the latest Firmware then only reinstall SX1-compatible, vendor-supported apps.

I sent my defective SX1 to Siemens and have to wait forever for a new one shipped to me from Germany. I called Siemens Cust. Service several times and they were not cool about it. They said it would take 6-10 weeks before the phone gets here. I paid alot of $$$ for it and now I have to wait 2 months for the phone. It's ludicris!!! Never Siemens again in my life.
