My SX1 turns itself off every time I try to turn it on... you get the eye etc, but as soon as it tries to display the normal mode, it turns itself off. Any ideas? I am running the latest firmware upgrade and had no problems with it.

Whatever?! Find some program and convert song (fragment) into 30s *.wav, which won't have more than 3mb (in good quality). Is it a problem for your card? I don't think so :) unless you need one ringtone for each person in your book...

Can someone just tell me how to set the short mp3s as ringtone on my sx1. some guy said its possible but i dont know how.Besides, i think the phone could have been the bomb if not for the short battery life and the keypad arrangement.

No, dude. You can recieve even bigger files directly to your card, by some small patch. I love this phone :)

i have a 7 seconds MP3 track which is set as ringtone...u can set only short mp3 tracks as ringtones...best wishes

well everything is ok but u can't set a ringtone to it's alarm i'm amazed how this feautre ain't there and this 4 mb avaliable on the phone so forget about receiving mp3 files from anther phones

you can't set mp3's as ring tones only midi's and wav's

this phone have all of thing that every one need.great mp3 player....clear radio ..and good display in his price range.
batry is good for normal usage .
camera is poor and disapointed

It's a nightmare to buy siemens SX1. Always hang and the battery is also terrible. No more siemens...

I doubt you guys have the latest firmware on your phones. Mine lasts 3 days with heavy usage. Its really brilliant for a phone released in its time. Mine works close to perfect, very much comparable with k700i's capabilities, if not BETTER.

this is Good phone but have some Problems
1. short up time ( it make terrible when you play or listen mp3 with your mobile )
2.not work properly with some Symbian 6 programs like video capture programs
3.after short time buttons and the Mobile Door will be SHAKE !

Terrible phone. Initially thought it was brilliant. But crashed continually and turns off. Battery life is poor and each program can cause severe problems when loading. Reading text messages can cause it to reboot. Avoid despite great features and design.

What handsfree to buy because i know that the hand`s free must contain an antena radio and must be stereao..... I bought the fone but i don`t have a headset for it and i want to know what to buy!
