Lion,
you can take this phone if you're more concerned with a symbian smart phone. it could be little slow as it is an old model but you can't get stereo MP3 and FM radio (both in one) even today in new coming really expensive smart phones. i don't know much about this phone but after using Siemens M55 and now CX65, i am getting frustrated with my current Nokia 6670! even camera of CX65 (VGA) gives more clear and smooth results than Nokia 6670 (1MP). Siemens gives some good options in its phone which are not counted as something worthy but they are!!! you may email me for more details ... pinkneedle@hotmail.com

Tell me somebady Did I buy the Phone Siemens SX1 did is working nice the BT. and the video recording is long or short when i put MMC. Also did the MP3 is nice Laud like in Sony Ericsson or more laud

i have a great problem with this phone. the number one problem is it's charging problem. the talk time of this phone is too short. really it's borring. i'm just worried about this phone charging time.

i have a problem with sx1 that phone code is needed to open desktop of program
because i have entered wrong luck code for more 5 times and i tried to open it for this reason i can't engin it
so i need a dvice from u to solve this problem???
tip:i was taken my mobile to a local center and they cant do treat this problem with software they said it has to open as hardware
and they tried furthermore the cant't solve

It's nice and perfect but there is only a problem with share memory becouse you can't get mp3 files by BT

SX1 is a great phone with a great design that even other people with Nokia phones would look at. On a dinner with friends who own new Nokia phones, they would pass my SX1 around because they are amazed by the keypads at the sides. The look is also very futuristic with a balance of slick tech design. They would also discover a lot of things in it that are good.
The SX1s performance is very stable for as long as you have the latest firmware installed. It's quite old yet it can still compete against the latest Nokia symbian phones. Nokia SUCKS anyway.

Bad phone.
Physically unnatractive.
Screen is ok.
Performance is lousy.

its a great handphone with cheap price but very good performance. in indonesia the black is more expensive than blue ice.
Can im using mp3 for ringtone ???

I've installed ETI Camcorder Pro, the result looks great at 'picture quality' but not at 'sound synch', rather delayed, Siemens built in video rec is better on sound synch.
How 'bout Philips Camcorder Pro? Is it better than ETI?
Too bad, Siemens not plan to released SX2 ^_^ ... The keypad is so great and unique 2 me, no ... us! The Siemens SX1 Fans Club! ^_^

Internal memory to low, camera only vga, ringtone not mp3, can't recording incoming call, etc and then sx1 the best one, other follower

yo yossi... get the camcorder pro.... symbian sis file... then u can make full use of ur memory card to record videos

I like this SX 1, that why I have 2 of them. After couple months, start problem with the phone (start up failure). I have to bring the phone two times for repair and takes more than 1 months each time (waiting for parts). The other one have problem with the batterei, quest what? It's cost AUS $120 for the batterei, I bought the phone brand new just AUS $250. Now I'm going back to NOKIA again :p

This lovely gadget has been accompanied me for 1 year and still ... advanced phone compared the others. The looks and audio (MP3) is great. What is need to improve is 1 minute video recording to be longer. Is anyone can tell me how to improve it to unlimited recording? How 'bout in Indonesia? Thanx.

I had my sx1 for more than a year, it is really good and cover most of my desires...But there is something is not good for me that the phone dose not support the arabic language, can any one told me to solve that proplem,,,,,,so the sx1 will be the best 1

I like this phone A LOT!! Specially the camera, it has automatic lightning to adjust when taking pictures. It has the best quality for VGA camera. unfortunately it has 4MB only on its internal memory. I'm having trouble to exchange bigger file content such as MP3 using bluetooth. so I used card reader n save it on my 256MMC. Too bad I didn't have the chance to had the McLaren Edition. So I bought the carbon black. the MP3 player sounds a bit poor compare to SL45. but that doesn't effect too much. the screen used TFD so it can use the battery more efficient. I was hoping that siemens would build its next generation (SX2*probably*, with 2.0 megapixel camera, TFD 265000colors, MP3player, radio, Symbian Os V8.0, bigger battery capacity maybe 1500MH, black colour) with a PERFECT software & of course with its unique n fashionable design that has been trademark for SX1.....
