Got yesterday a new one as a replacement. Works OK...
I like this phone for it's toughnes.
Next model should have bigger, more easily readable fonts, more adjustable profiles and watch as a screen saver.

I had to return my Quest. Loud speaker started to turn off by itself what was very annoying. Had to switch the phone off and on and then it worked fine for some time and then again... Missed few important calls because of that...
Another important issue - phone couldn't connect to the PC. I followed the instructions precisely and I connect my Nokias (E71) very often to PC without problems.
About using the phone - adjusting the profiles is also too simple. I consider messages as a "not immediately responding conversation" so I like to adjust my phone to be silent when messages arrive. You can't adjust Quest in that way...
Otherwise (if everything works as it should) a great and sturdy phone.
Now we see If Sonim stick to the warranty statements about replacing malfunctioning items...

Finally, a top level cellphone "Must Have", except connexion to PC with Windows7 64bit => Maybe a next release of updated software?

got landrover s1 orange and yellow qwests xp3 euro and usa models. i am now a high vis trucker covered now. recommend these phones next time qwad band and no cam just talk and txt please mr pleshkie and bluetooth adp 2.0.endurro still the best ? how about a sat phone combined with quad band gsm ? iridium ? that would sort the 3g camp out no web browsers in site ? that a good one for the ice road boys. sonim i like your products but i am in a minority basic talk and text and sat that would do me on exmoor don"t lauagh keep on trucking . the nokia 6250 lives on in the sonim. iphones no?

most excellent phone,quadband yes please and no cam and radio please not rellavant please put out an endurro with quadband and the battery from the qwest please sonim. ice road truckers don"t need these features the polar bear would not need fancy gimmicks talk and text please. look at all these touch screen phones with problems yellow and orange please mr sonim this is a good phone lets see how nokia 3720 takes on the qwest not and the lm801 not and samsung b2100 not sonim rules

yes battery is really great!!
with lots of everyday phone calls I'm charging it once a week.

Just a quadband basic phone with IP67 or better rating plus same or even better battery life as with the XP3.2 Quest will be perfect for me.. Everything else will just be a welcome bonus but it would make it more expensive.. Sonim definitely has to make a more low profile phone while maintaining everything else especially toughness and long battery life.. This is a great idea for the XP2 phone which is missing from the XP series.. I hope you're listening Sonim...

i think this is the perfect phone. i doesnt look cool but i doens give a f... cause u cant break it. i had a lot of phones who broke after a hard night out and this one survives it every time. so i recommend this mf to al teenagers who like 2 party and drink alot. this phone survbives the toilet drop. sounds familiar? buy this phone!
