Well somebody was asking about the media player. Well its not the walkman one but its media player 3 equal to walkman player 3. Just like the one used in k850.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2008dear guys is this phone having walkman player like K660????Also, in reply ot a previous question, this phone has the new SE media player and NOt the walkman player like the w880i.
It is slow and not designed to take more than 3 albums!

Just to warn eveyone about this phone. the battery is AWEFUL! Sony Ericsson in their wisdom decided that a GPS enabled phone which has a large screen and lots of features would only need the same battery (the BST33) as the W880i!
The GPS lasts 1 hour 30 mins before running the battery flat.
In addition when multitasking (i.e. playing music and writing a text or surfing the net) the C702 reminded me of why I moved from Nokia's. The software is very slow and has clearly been rushed by Sony.
I'm sending this back a waiting for the iphone! Don't get me wrong I like Sony ut they are falling into the Nokia 'poor software' and 'running before walking' trap!

I dont understand why this phone is catogorized as rugged phone .....look at the key pad. Overall phone is well-built and nice feeling in hand. But keypad is disaster. It does not only look cheap ...its very tiny. I'd have bought a long time ago if it had big solid key pad. AS for big key, there's plenty of free space to be used for.

just like to ask if t... moreyeah its qvga@30rps.. so about standard to most phones on the market... sound also on par with SE's walkman phones so pretty good..reported loud speaker vol from most reviews slightly above average. and im pretty sure it can take a 8gb mem. card but dont quote me on it.. hope that helps

well most people here are saying k850 is way better than this. im using a k850 for more than a couple of months and im thinking of buying this one. k850's not bad but one should keep on changing. the display is the same 2.2
