Does anyone whether the A-GPS Navigation/Tracker will work well with just EDGE or do you need 3G? I'm worried cuz in US 2100 is only available through t-mobile but they have bad reception where I will be. Does anyone know?? Thanks.

              Some comments

Excellent phone!! This is my next cell after two K750's and one K550 ;-)

It seems that is not an exact release date for this model.

Is a pity that WIFI not be present, I think that is not an essencial for this specific model and I agree with some that have wrote that maybe if you are at home where your wifi connection is available probably you'll go with your laptop. I think that "surfing the web" over your cellphone will never be as confortable as on your desktop because of keyboard, mouse etc.

Excellent "torch feature". Some people use to get confused between Xenon flashes and LED flashes. It would be excellent for the next model of the c702i-EW (extended / wifi :-)...just kidding!! ) if comes with both. A Xenon flash usually is designed only for camera purposes and generally it goes on (discharge) only when you push the button. SE calls this Photo flash. LED "flashes" aren't exactly a flash but it it works well at this. SE calls it Photo Light (support light) These are perfect for the Torch feature, and for this SE C702 is excellent because its "outdoor nature" waterproof, dustproof. I've always preferred cellphones with torch feature because is very important in my kind of job. At present, there isn't good models in the market with it. If some day theres a cellphone with both types of flash i'll be in the line at first. ;-).

I'll be waiting for a blue C702 on ebay ;-)

Yes, it is a killer phone, you can kill with it - it is thick. (brick-like)

What else is wrong for sure with this phone?

                              A few things:

                              - 950mAh battery, there is no way that it can support the screen, GPS etc.

                              - Li-Ion batery: ols technology, Li-Po bettegr, no overheating, and more power /volume.

                              - small screen especially for GPS
                              - display is only 256K color

                              - no WIFi
(remember this is an expensive phone!!!)

and the touch screen would be nice, like g900.

I am afraid this is another overpriced big SE phone with limited features and outdated by the time of release.

The phone is obtained by the reviewers( the manufacturers must send them the phones for pre-release hype)
It can be pre-registered at carphonewarehouse.com
