Well wat can i say about this phone !! its crap ! its the worst phone i've eva had ! first of all it started freezin when i was on a call ! then the end call button fell off, wen i tried 2 get it fixed they told me i must of pulled it off myself and i'd have 2 pay for it (as if i'd do that) then it started turnin itself on n off randomly then the speaker went n i cud only speak on loudspeaker otherwise the person on the other end of the phone couldn't hear me! then it started 2 not charge properly and i had 2 position it in a certain way n even then it didn't charge properly n finally now its dead n wont do anythin my advise is stay away from this phone ! my friend also had the same problems ! really dont waste ur money on this phone !

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2009is there a torchlight on this phone? No but if u set your phone on video cam and put on the flash it stays on.

ruky, 15 Jun 2009Hi venj, got a good newz 4 u . i managed to fix the prob... moreI think c902 is better if you want a better camera. I have 5800 and I think it looks better just because of touch screen but I am not comfortable using it. I would recommend c902. just a suggestion.

btw, how many weeks/months did Sony Ericsson fixed up ur c902? well.. i'm waiting for a month now, i really want it back. hehe.. how's ur c902? is it working well? isn't it slow? cuz when i upgraded mine before, it became fast and better =)

got a good newz 4 u . i managed to fix the problem with Sony Ericsson Service Center.they said its a kind of Virous or software corruption. But anyway How they fix it was RE-INSTALLING the OS.I've lost most of my contacts, sms,applications.But its ok 2 me(couldn't make any back-ups B4 that).(of course i had 2 rearrange all my personal setting )

why don't you try to update the firmware of the phone so that your problem will be fix.

The camera quality is crappy for a cyber-shot phone. When i zoom out the image quality just breaks up. The camera is no good.I cant make out faces and i cant take long distant shots with the camera. Carl Zeiss all the way!!!

-, 08 Jun 2009I got this phone for my birthday last septemeber and since ... morehello.. i have a c902 phone too. after about 6 months of using it, the keypad stop working for some reason... honestly, i never dropped the phone ..ever. and most importantly i never did wet the phone.
i went back to the shop because it is still under warranty, they fixed it. but after about 2 weeks there goes the problem again..irritating.. i brought it back to the shop but they told me that it would take 1 month for them to fix it..wtf?? i never did anything.. so they offered me an option that they will replace the phone.. now i have the new phone but it has a diff problem.. hangs a lot... i am very pissed with this product. it is not worth my money at all..

I got this phone for my birthday last septemeber and since then i have had 5 different handsets.
Each time ive had it back from the shop they have claimed it was water damaged even though after the first time they said this i made sure it didnt go anywhere near water so this wasnt possible.
The First 2-3 weeks of each phone was great, brilliant: battery life, camera, speaker, screen.
Then the battery would run out in 3 hours, the phone would cut off during calls, buttons started sticking, lagging on messages and menu, couldnt hear people during calls, and finally the screen went.
I would restart it, and then all it would do was vibrate slightly, flash and restart itself.
This happened with all 5 of the phones.
In the end i went back to my K810i, i have had this for 3 years now and it is still in (almost) perfect working condition, keypad is a bit worn out but apart from that its still great.
After saying all that though i have since heard from sony ericsson and they have admitted to there being software errors in the earlier models but they have since been rectified.
So anybody looking to buying the C902 - good luck, no matter what sony ericsson say im not trusting this phone.
Sony usually have amazing phones and this to me was a big let down!
I'm going to stick with my k810i until the SATIO/IDOU comes out.
Anybody know when this is?

yup this phone always freezes during messaging and phone calls and end up hanging up my calls most of the time. or it wld jus turn off by itself at times whn it freezes. but the camera is real awesome. had it for 1 yr now & seriously thinking about changing it.
