Wait I rememberd another annoying thing.You can't change the shortcuts from the left(media) and right (search)soft keys.Also I deactivat widgets and still can't put another shourtcut on the up key.Or am I wrong again?

That's a typing i... moreAbhi first I own the phone.I can scan&send you the receipt and the waranty paperif you leave me an email adress.Second I compared the software from a specific motorola a specific samsung with cedar. I didn't say samsung make the best phones or that motorola phones are perfect.I totally agree with you regarding themes, multitasking, unlimited messages, internal memory ,battery backup,,the bluetooth sending files directly to memory card!Great features and some of them unqiue to SE!Also I was pleasently suprised to see SE got rid off fast port and put SD instead of M2.BUT
-the accept call list is not so flexible eas the reject list.for example if you have 500 contacs and you want to reject calls from a single contact you would have to put the others 499 one by one in the list.am I right or not?
-I don't want disco lights from the keyboard.I just want to activate it during a time interval(put it off during day and on through the evening).it would save a bit the baterry agree?
-the missed call event indicator is another story. For example I leave the phone on the desk and I'm away when I return it should allert me regarding new calls or text messages throug a beep or light(remember the blue leds on nokia 6300?) without me pressing a key.I don't thins SE has got this!
Also an auto-shutdown/power up feature would make the battery last longer(I don't use the phone during the night).There should also an option to set the time after wich the keypad gets locked.
I'm not interested in social networks so I don't find widgets that useful.All my friens have at most 2 numbers so what's the use of 7 numbers per contact? Also I don't want to note in the phone the size of the shoes they are wearing,their height and weight and all that detailed stuff.The adress would sufice.
For now that's all I would like to say.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2011are you julian that having the signal prob with zylo?? has... moreAbout the signal problem, i'm on roaming right now and I wasn't able to change my sim before I left so there is no final answer to the problem yet. I use the net more than I make calls now but once I had very muffled sound even with a full signal. Dunno the reason but other times it was fine. Volume is a little low in noisy places but it's acceptable.

I don't own a cedar, but I know a few people who do and they all seem to be happy with it. I'm also not very pleased with the slider form factor of the zylo but the huge screen is what justifies that. The 2.2" of the cedar isn't exactly tiny though. So I would rate it the best vfm phone from SE. Btw, my 16gb card has only 400mb free. It's slightly slower but not painfully so.

from all phones i used (Motorola, Siemens, Philips, Sony Ericsson and Samsung), i'd still vote for Sony Ericsson in a heartbeat. i don't have Cedar, yet, but i found it very interesting.
Let me tell you something, in general, about Samsung, still using it (Spica), but hate it. it restarts with no reason, keep having trouble in connecting it with my pc (so i have to use bluetooth, devastating), battery sucks, the touch screen errors much, damn slow, camera sucks, slow opening. now i don't wanna use it for anything unless for calls and SMS.
now i'm going back to SE, for sure.

I bought the zylo and while I love the phone, the network issue i'm having is putting me off. It's a great phone otherwise.

are you abhi in the zylo threads? i'm the yari user. i didnt know that you also have cedar.. for your info, i still havent bought any phone yet to replace mine. i have listed zylo n nokia c5 (bcoz everyone is fighting about the 2 phones), but in my country, c5 is almost 50% more expensive than zylo (althogh having almost the same specs).. so, ive unlisted c5 n still searching for another candybar phone.. so, can you please compare zylo and cedar for me (other than camera) such as incall quality, signal strength,keypad etc..
does cedar also have background music function during phonecalls? thanx .. if anyone can also help me, thanx a lot

So, there came the Track ID to my help. I just used Track Id & got the info abt the song instantly & than downloaded the song.
Does ur samsung, moto, lg or nokia have that ???
