Cedar can even match that phone even without a 1 ghz processor and ram/rom and can do multitasking. budget and convinience should come hand in hand. that's what you call value for money. for example, nokia x2 is far more expensive than cedar but i bet, cedar is worth your buck than that phone. try it. see to believe.

Can anybody please help me? until now i still haven't got an idea on how to use the firmware i've downloaded for my cedar. can i flash my phone using that firmware offline? can anybody please create a full and concise tutorial. i beg you guys... thanks.! go cedarians!

Guyz I wanna buy this mobile and hav a few questions.
1.Does it hav a dedicated 3G mode?
2.Can I shoot videos in landscape mode?
3.Does it support .prov setting?
4.How is the sound prior to modding?
5.Can I minimise opera while downloading and do some other task like txting?

Cedar has got one of the best batteries available on a feature phone.
On normal usage it will run for 3 days and on heavy usage it will run for 1.5-2 days.
What more you want from a 4k phone?

personally i hate loudspeaker grill on the b0t0m in a qwerty device thats why i need to cut my asha adventure(asha 303 and 200) and nokia puting antenna beside their loudspeaker grills now which make long time antenna issues
I dont knw what nokia did in asha 200 and 303 but I am sure they did the mistake(by and for me) again
I suggest you to go for asha 300
I am waiting for galaxy y pro duos launching in country :p

I am doing it as part of sharing the info that there is a better phone in the range. I bought x2 and burned a lot of my savings as I was unaware of cedar at that time. The only cedar I knew was the tree. Besides, the fanboys in x2 forum lured me into buying it claiming that its best in class and got amazing cam clarity. I was cheated in a way.
I just dont want that to happen to anyone else. So I spread the info of cedar with the comparison of other phones just that.
Sort of a social service.

This is because in many countries including India operators are providing GPRS speeds upto 236kbps only and practically you will get average 140-160kbps only and max upto 200kbps in rare cases.
God knows, when we will get full EDGE speed of 236kbps on Cedar.

Guys, I need your opinion.
I want to buy a new featured phone. By considering some criteria below, which one do you think suits best for me? Cedar or Nokia Asha 300?
I need a phone with :
1. good call quality
2. Good music player & speaker quality
3. smooth java application
4. good battery backup
My only drawback for Cedar is it doesn't support Thailand 3G network (850 MHz). Meanwhile I'm not sure about Nokia can run java as smooth as SE and it also not multitask.
Really need your advice, guys!

I didnt even got a skype account
No s40 got different call log list
And my beloved x2 is full of music keys that if I try to adjust vol by holding the phone in just one hand, the next -prev or play pause key gets accidentally pressed
