once upon a time, i charge my phone(g900) from 7-8.30 a.m. Before that the battery was like 20%. After that it is full 100% battery level. Then i leave my phone on my bed until 12.am. It's 98% battery level after. Then i used it on internet, facebook, myspace, gsmarena, downloading some themes, etc till 2 p.m. It's 88% then. So later after 2.30 p.m, i used it to watch my mp4 video, listening music+internet and ofcourse wifi is on until 4 p.m. So it's 75%. Then i used for ebuddy, i chat for a couple of hours+music+facebook+wifi(of course) until its 6.15 p.m, then i leave it awhile till 7, its 48%. Wifi is still on from 12 p.m, then i used it for internet+ebuddy+music and oh i forgot to mention opera mini till my dinner time around 9 p.m. It is 33% left. Then i used it for internet and music till 11.30 p.m. It is 19% left. Overall, i think it rocks. I don't know whats your battery problem dude. Remember to close the 3G use the GSM. Unless u didnt use wifi. So, thats my opinion.

MAK, 10 Feb 2010Worst Phone I ever had.. :@ I preferred it over C902 but it... moreIm sorry mister, but this phone are not for camera. It is actually for internet, business and games(maybe). You said file manager it sucks, well yeah it was. But you must deeply learn about this phone. It is not as bad as u think actually, this is one of the best phone in the world. Minus the camera. And ofcourse it sometimes lagg. Even the most expensive phones in the world can be lagg sometimes. About the file manager, i recommend you to download swissmanager or x-plore. That would be good.

i updated my g900 w/ the help of the comment of ALONG, and it was great! it became faster than b4, i no longer want to throw it outside my window, and the feature is superb, its like i bought a new updated/higher version. tzanks. the bad thing is, dont put it inside ur pocket, it breaks, the main frame or the skelton(the plastic).

1st of all,to all users,actually all of u must think that this is symbian fon,u must treat it like computer,virus can attack ur system, thats why ur fon restarting,hanging,jamming,rocking and bla....bla...
update ur fon at least once a month, download pc suite from sonyericsson website for g900, install it, connect ur fon in file transfer mode, choose update from the pcsuite, follow instruction such as holdpress the C key until it instruct u to unhold...
run antivirus when u connect ur fon to pc...avira free version quite ok,avg...
for camera, clear the lens, then ok!
but, in term of casing/body, s..ks!!plastic!!!

I just bought the SE G900, the first thing i noticed is the very poor battery performance, it doesnt even last a day under medium-heavy usage, i used it to listen to songs, it drains the battery very quickly, and im not pleased, after a second thought, maybe i should have gone for a another phone like the G705, im only using this primarily for listening songs, Wi-Fi etc, i will have to buy a new battery and test it out, will let you guys know if the battery performance improves (the phone that i bought is most likely a display set, so imma head off and buy a battery and test again)

Overall, I think this smartphone is still in the process of improving but it functions like it should and I will continue to use it with just a matter of getting used to it and protecting the phone's shell. Below are my opinions and synopsis of it.
The good:
-Can run several applications at once
-Has video calling unlike my old mobile
-Scribble notepad is good
-Can have 9 shortcuts where unlike my old mobile which could only have 4
-Can get apps like the iPhone
-Has phone-lock mechanism so the touch-screen will not be bumped
-Has useful widgets on the main screen such as Samsung touch-screen phones, and one of them is favourite contacts
-Has copy and paste function, and Bluetooth function unlike the iPhone
-Has quickoffice, pdf, torch, stopwatch, timer
-Can put tasks in prioritised-order
-Has a mini-stylus which is handy for scribbling notes or pictures, or handwriting messages
-Can record video unlike iPhone
The bad:
-The quality of the 5 megapixel camera is disappointing and looks like a 3 megapixel camera
-The back of the phone is not very durable…It peels
-The alarm does not work if phone is turned off unlike my old mobile
-The alarm does not work if the wrong day is set eg. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Where as other mobiles’ alarms do not even need to have a day set.
Other:
-The touch screen has not given me problems and works exceptionally well, except when battery is nearly dead then the touch screen does not function until charged up again
