I think this phone is great ;) I am waiting until next week(7. Jan) when I am going to buy this phone.After that I'll post all of my opinions about g900 here ;) The opinions will be NEUTRAL!

I have a G900 just bought it a week ago. The phone is pretty slow but easy to get used to be cause it doesn't miss things so never rapidly click something because it will happen how many times you click. And when buying one, check take it out of the box and make sure everything works. I got home and my camera didn't open so had to take it back and a mate had some problems with his as well. If you're only buying this phone for the wi fi then you're going to get owend because the battery goes very quickly unless you put your brightness all the way down and also after opening anything remember to close the applications properly cause that seems to drain the battery quickly as well. But I don't regret getting the phone because it is really nice to use texting is very easy and looks good plus comfortable to hold and it's unlocking key I love so much lol.

I did alot of online reading before I got this phone and guess what.. those forums are lying thru their teeth.. Even for this website.. Performance : 8.4.. i guess this is one of the lousiest phone ever made by SE. Reasons:
1. When connect Phone to Computer thru USB, all computers cant detect my phone despite having phone repaired twice.
2. Used for 4 mths and now sometimes when receiving call, though it is not on slience mode, the phone just do not have any ringing sound nor vibration.
3. The touch screen does not work like once every fornight and you can't call out as the phone do not have any CALL button except on the touch screen.
4. The phone would always reflect MEMORY CARD CORRUPTED and you have to restart your phone to make it working.. Its not the memory card problem though..
5. Most of the time, it would vibrate on its own without receving any CALLS!!! (PERTURB TO THE MAX!!)
I m utterly disappointed with SE product though I am a fan of it for past 5 years.. I m considering Nokia phone for now...

Ivan, 01 Jan 2009does UIQ 3 apps/games work for this phone?Yes...it does ;) The most sys-files(=applications only for symbian-os) are made for the symbian s-60 and for the symbian UIQ...this means, g900 supports sys-files(applications,games etc.)
and it supports jar-files(Java games, applications etc)too!

I just bought this phone and already have some problems with it. Internet doesn't work eventhough wifi is connected. I can't connect my phone with the computer through the Usp. Can anyone help?

Excellent phone. The best sonyericsson after the xperia! Everything is cool and fast with this device. Moreover, it's camera is good, the touch is very responsive and quick, it holds 8gb memory cards and the size and shape of the phone and screen are apropiatelly. I really love this phone and I recommend it to everybody. Besides, it is very cheap!!

I have now had this phone for 3 months and its a nice simple design. I personally do not use the phone for any internet functions. I did like the extra touch screen pencil they supplied as i lost the 1st one within a week of having the phone... so well done there S'E. The note pad function is fun and useful too, I've found the touch screen and its functionality sometimess problematic and while its bearable not always ideal!!
Now for the BIG gripe.... has anyone mentioned the fact this phone takes super pictures in the day where there is daylight... but come a dim lit or dark area the flash goes off well before the pic can be taken so what you get its a dark image of people or the pic. My friend she has a G900 same thing and another friend has the C902 and again the same thing. We tried playing about with the settings and nope does not work well.... I have a Nokia N73 and the flash on that World Class and S'E phones cannot take pics in dim lit areas to save its life and thats pretty poor indeed... if you want to use the camera in low lit conditions STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE... choose a Nokia!!

does the Sony Ericsson g900i has video editors (i mean the videodj?) just like the k850i? which has an advantage: g900i, iphone 3g, or n82?

I just got back from a three day trip to the "sister island of Bali", which is the Lombok Island, and took some picture of the scenery there...
I'd be lying if I say that the results were amazing or anything like that, but they are not as bad as many people say...
I believe it deserves some credit, and moreover, some had bad experiences with water splashes?
my phone survived a half an hour sea water splash during a one hour fifteen minute, fishermen's boat ride on a constantly wavy water, while crossing a strait, and it lived to tell the tale...
the water splashes were i think about 1 cm wide each and my phone got them head on...
no problems with the touchscreen, at all, nor with the speakers...
it's been a long time since i've had any freezes or problems, but about two or three weeks ago it did freeze, n it happened when I was using the media player for music and minimized media update where I pressed the 'back' button many times rapidly to get back to the standby screen...
the screen turned black, nothing worked but the playing music and, oddly, the lock button...
so I took the battery off and put it back on...

I got the G900 but it started giving touch screen probs, phone memory was full and couldn't delete because of touch issue.Sent it back...Im now phoneless...Its a great phone despite its probs.

hi. i just brought G900. i can use WiFi but can junction with speed of 3G, which 384kps. any idea to conjuntion the speed of 3G with WiFi so i can search internet and check mail without any cost?
