I don't belive the signature "K300i" who says: "i got this fone on the a year and a half ago no problems it was on orange warning do not get it on vodafone it is rubish trust me belive me people"

This phone was launched March 2005. Therefore it is dificult to have received this phone more than 7 months prior to it's launch. I doubt Sony Ericsson even had one themselves.

K300i is approved both for Orange and Vodafone; it is branded both for Orange Signature series and Vodafone Live.

To connect to USB you need accessory cable DCU 11 which connects to the bottom connector (same as charger and handfree port)

CSTN is a specific display technology - CSTN means "Color Super Twisted Nematic".

Each pixel of a CSTN display is actually 3 separate colored pixels of Red/Green/Blue. Each of those colors are controlled individually by the graphic controller chip. So actually a 128x128 pixel CSTN display actually contains 386x128 individually colored pixels.

Super Twisted Nematic means a type of display technology which uses liquid crystal fluids which "twist"/rotates the plane of polarization greater than 90 degrees. An STN display has improved viewing angles and contrast at high multiplex rates

But the photos in format 1280x960 are "fake Mega Pixel" since it's a software fix which doubles the amount of pixels. The resolution is still VGA.

I've got K300i. I was really shocked because camera takes a photos in format 1280x960 pixels, 96dpi :))) On the box is information "Camera VGA 640x480" soo I didn't expect more, but suprise was big when I discovered 1,23 Mpx in my K300i :)

Sorry about that, too quick! IR lens on top, bottom connector at bottom used to connect to USB via cable DCU-11.

The USB Port is at the bottom of the phone, the link cable should fit in there then have the USB connection on the other end of the cable for the PC/Laptop.

                                  Where is the USB port.
There is an opinion posted that the top lens next to on/off button is the usb port. What i know that it is the irda port. Do i have to use the data link cable to connect to the pc?
