yes on the tab menu there should be a link with the word ''search'' click that.
on my k550i its there maybe not on yours

Do you mean go to a tab named search? Because I only see 5 tabs: General, sounds& alerts, Display, Calls and Connectivity.

I jus tgot this phone. Other then the fact i don't like the buttons and have to really use my finger nails, its' absolutly cool and a wonderful device. The video is kinda of a downer, and the guy at the store says sony ericsson was one the best camera. That gets me to the camera. My aunt's lg phone camera is a lvl higher then this one. =\
but i get to upload stuff like mp3 and videos and music. It's all good.

hi, ive gt this phone today and i got a problem.i want to send a text message but when i click on write new, there's only; picture messages, video messages and email. i dont get to choose text messages and i dont know whats the problem. plz help me

guys, certainly the pfone has the legendary sony tag on the screen, but, u can make out this one is really a budget gimmick.... i suggest you to check out the k750i for nearly the same price.

hey folks! same trouble with the others~ pondering between k550 and w610. i need a phone with good camera features, but at the same time i want a good phone with mp3 player. so can anyone say which is better? not about the pros and cons but which will they choose and why =) hope someone will help me with this! =]

> the phone will automatically come back with any files with that name.its should come back with your folder.....then
> now click ''more'' on the folder and click ''move'' and then move it to destination of your choice.

I just bought this phone and so far I'm quite thrilled though it's just the first day and my previous cell phone was an old T230 Sony Ericsson.
Right now I've been trying to send some pictures from my PC to the phone for the past two hours. I managed to send pictures to my PC through the USB cable but I haven't managed the other way around.
I used the Bluetooth to connect, which proved more useful, as I could see the folders on my Internet Explorer. I copy-pasted some pics to the camera album -in the same folder where the pics I had taken with the phone already where-, and a question popped on my phone display where it wanted to know if it should allow those pics. I pressed yes, but when I went to the camera album on my phone, there where only the original photos. However, the available memory dropped from 72 to 70 MB. And I can see these pics in the folder on Win Explorer.
Please, could someone tell me where these photos have gone?

carbonize is right. digital zooming is useless when taking pictures, instead better zoom the picture after you've taken it. (if it's an optical zoom then it's fine but the exposure will take longer and speedier shutter speed is required)

does this phone have a sleep mode clcok, that comes on during inactivity?
I know that the k75i and k800 have it.

well in fact you are incorrect im afraid. you said no phone has zoom at its best picture qualtity but for your information the k800i which is also a camera phone has amazing zoom at its 3mp quality.i own the k800i also.

To Doley: when the phone gets "out of the network", and cannot receive incoming calls, it's enough to just make a call (you can do that any time if the network indicator is full), and it's OK, you can receive incoming calls again.
I talked to the service guys and they said it's the software that needs to be reinstalled.

The K550i is a cool phone indeed but its camera
has a 3.8 mm radius whereas the K750 has 4.8 which might produce lower quality pictures and apart from that auto focus is not that effective especially in micro mode compared to the K750i.Being a cybershot the K550i is not that impressive.

Hey, I have the same problem as maxx, sometimes i miss calls and have to restart my phone, any ideas? is their some setting to fix this? need help!!

In answer to the person who posted the two 'comments' below.
1 - Of course it has no zoom at 2 mp. The camera uses digital zoom which only works when using lower than the maximum resolution. No camera has digital zoom that works at maximum resolution due to the way digital zoom works.
2 - The version of the phone that GSM Arena were given to test was a beta model and came with two games.
