it is possible to put a fone lock on the code eg like a sim code lock but for the fone and wen it is turned on it asks for it this is handy if it gets robbed all the theif has is a unworkable shell...i have only had mine for neally 2 weeks so im not a veteran quite yet so i dont no how to do the keypad lock either ask doul he knows everyting :)

get the k750i first of all it is a bar i no the keys and screen arent protected but im just not a fan of the flip fone because of the spring wearing out n it can happen anytime so yeh, k750i has a 2mp cam z800 has 1.3, k750i has a proper lens cover which has done wonders for me so far and u really do need a cover on ur lens the swivel can only go so far, from this gsm sight it ses on the reviews that the z800 doesnt do video but i think it might but the k750i has auto focus and tonnes of different mad effects u can have on the camera. jus by looking at the reviews and stuff the k750i just looks like it has mroe room in it so it should function better eg there is more room for dialled missed and recieved calls where z800 only does 10 each so yeah jsut look at that stuff before u run out n buy 1 i got my fone 1st march 2006 and i love it heaps

I posted a way to silent the key press sounds because I thought it might be what techno wanted. I supposed putting the phone on silent does the same thing.
Theres no shortcut key for the light but open the lens and press * and the light will go on obviously. Thats the fastest way to do it.

Hi,
I wonder how can we synchronise the calendar in hotmail/msn web with k750i?
My screen has been scratched 1 week after i bought. I checked with the shop and it costs $98 to change cos need to change the whole housing. So all of you using k750i, it is better to use a protective sheet.

Another shortcut to activate your silent mode is to press and hold the "#" key. Then it will be switch to silent mode. To switch back, simply press and hold "#" key again.
I wonder is there a shortcut key to activate the light.

Just blow out the dust from it by sucking or blowing air into/from the joystick, that should do it.

There's a direct link in the post I told you to read, when you click on it, it won't work/open, to make it open/work correctly just remove the extra "-," -using Backspace key on your keyboard- from the Address bar -that bar in which you write the name of the sites that you want to open- then click "Enter".
I can give you the correct one directly now, but I want you to read the post first to see whether you'll need that link at all or not.

Take the phone to your nearest SE customer care center to have your firmware updated, this will eliminate that issue.

- Yes, go to the phone "File manager" then go to "Sounds" folder, click "More" and then click on "New folder", name that folder MP3 -or any name you like-, now go to "Ringtones" folder, click "More", open "Mark" and click on "Mark several", now select all your MP3's and click "More" once again,open "Manage files" and click on "Move to folder" and click on "MP3" folder, now all your MP3's are into that folder.
Go to the "Media player", click on "New playlist", name it -i.e. MP3-, scroll down to the folder named "MP3" and click "Open", and then mark all the MP3's located into the folder and click "Add".
Now, you can create a playlist for each music type. but we can't create a sub-folder into the main MP3 folder, the playlists will do the trick however.

You don't need to have it replaced like "techno madman" said, your issue happened with some posting users in this forum too and a firmware update seems to solve it.

have you tried putting the other 1 in and all that? if you have and it still doesnt work you might have hit or scratched something that makes it not work nad if u have warranty go get it replaced

URGENT!!!
Please help me. I switched my phone off tonight to change the battery (I've 2) and now the phone won't switch back on. The screen switches on and the display is white and about 2 seconds later the phone switches off. Its not the battery I've tried charging it and it makes no difference. nothing is registering. Please help.

Dont think you can turn that off. Its not very loud anyway.
Obviously Oz prices are different. Thats why I said to search oz sites and stores for prices. NZ price is just to give u an idea of the appx price.

nah dude when you first turn ur fone on and u enter ur pin number it comes up wit da ericsson ring how do i turn that off...

7 months and couple of days here with no probs. at all with the joystick.
I was a former owner/user of K700 but I got it stolen from me, as far as I can recall, it's the same joystick.
