Update your phone on SE Homepage, there you will fine instructions for service update, and the new firmware will be installed without this problem hopefully

You can't hide it, it's especially made to easily pick the desired sms which you want to view or send -in case of having more than 1 sms from the same sender-, so whether you choose No details, Details or Date & time from the List ptions the 1st two or three words from the text will be shown.

I'm afraid that you've been ripped off, the headset is bundled everywhere with the K750i, it can't be an option.

I have K750i. In that i have a problem. I seriously need someone who is well versed in this phone to help me out. I am having problem while swapping profiles. When i am switching over from normal mode to handsfree mode it is not getting changed automatically. I have to switch off and switch on, then only it moves to handsfree. and the same problem when switch over from handsfree to normal mode.again i have to switch it off. if anyone can help me in this i will be greatfull. Thank u.

Take it easy my friend. @Doul answered your question, but i will be more specific with you about the two phones.
The K750i, it can take up to 2GB memory stick pro due, some says 4GB. I didn´t get the chance to try the 4GB. But you can assign MP3 files as ringtones and as alarm also. It has a sound that can kill any needs for buying an ipod if you buy the HPM-70 sony walkman headsets. And it has 2megapixel camera with auto focus, and not to forget the RDS radio function with a high stereo sound and can be switched to mono. It has bascialy everything you need except for a WLAN, and the WLAN is not found on the D500 either.
The D500, a couple of my friends have this phone and i had the chance to play with it and compare the two phones cause i have a K750. It is lower is everything, grafics, resolution, sound quality! and limited memory card expantion, it only takes 512mb card. and the bluetooth is not that stable!.
1.3 megapixel camera. No equalizer, the built in flash is barely enought to light your way at night. But it has a good design in looks.
And so does the k750i, i personaly thinks it is one of the most classiest phones in the market so far.

i recently bought a vodafone branded K750i, my problem is that there was no radio headset in the package. when i enquired about it I was told that it's an optional extra. anyone have the same problem or was I ripped off????

If you just read the review of each mobile you'de have found the answer. I said it a couple of times already and I'm not willing to repeat myself any more.

Send your problem to sonyericsson itself through the contact us page in its website, though they will help you only with the failure of your phone cause the other problems aren't their mistake, it's not "company in iran" it's just an iranian person that took the proxy of sonyericsson, so just sue him.

Read each mobile review and specifications and make your choice yourself. For GOD sakes man what is the possibility percentage to find someone who actually has the 2 phones to tell you which one is better !!?? In the K750i specifications page it says MP3 beside the ring tone so don't you just believe it and still needs a confirmation !!??

No, you won't be able to run the PC Suite on Windows 98, the minimum is Windows ME.

Didn't encounter this problem so I can't help you, sorry, do some tracking yourself and you might find the reason, if couldn't find it just uninstall and reinstall the Suite again.

It doesn't support neither any office applications nor real player formats. Also, I doubt that you'll find anyone here that actually own these 2 devices to tell you which one to buy, again, read each device reviews and specifications and then choose.

K750i and D750 are identical. The only difference is the cover and some customized icons in the menu. But in terms of functionality they are identical. Yes, you can set an mp3 as a ringtone for D750.

u'll find this funny but i just happened to use it for 1 day and dan gifted it to my elder bro who really use other features but for calling n takin pic's n at times shoots.
actually i lost my 6820 and so i bought this one but now i m again with my old R220 as nokia 6820 is been discareded here in india. so i m waiting for 6822 or could be E70.. o boy... it is simply gr8 featured phone for business executive :)

Hi i mistakenly got the moto rokr e1 today and i dont like it and i cant download any music on to it from my pc, as my comp only has windows 98. I really wanted the K750 but somehow was otherwise persuaded.
will i be able to run the pc suite on windows 98, is the e1 just being awkward?
i wish i had stuck with SE i have a K700i at the moment and i love it!

Please could someone advise me. Which would you say was better the D500 or K750i also can you use MP3's as ringtones on the k750i. I currently have a sharp 902 on voda and whenever i try to assign an mp3 as a ringtone it wont let me says illegal cannot assign.

The K750 has an outstanding music quality, same as W800i, they have the same hardware implementation, but the only difference is the headsets and 512mb. The 512mb costs around 60$ here in denmark. And the walkman headsets costs around 30$. But the K750i is more classy serious look phone, a funky phone like W800i cannot be possibly shown in a business meeting.
To the guy who posted about Nokia 6630 and K750. Forget about the nokia. It has a 65k screen, and bad sound quality and can take only up to 512mb, and it is a 1.3megapixel camera. K750, well you know 2megapixel, walkman sound quality, 262k screen.and a better 3D grafics, with a Radio RDS function. I guess the image is clear to you.

I bought 4 month ago K750 ( serial : 356551006026696 ) in iran, 2 month ago i turn off my phone , but this is never turn on again .
your company in iran haven't Guaranty authentic ( unlike Nokia, Sumsung, LG ). my phone as yet is fail and me...... i can n't do something excluding say to enturage boughting your production is craziness....
