I have this phone and I have to say it is the best phone ever, but I will be honest, there is a known fault with them at the moment. It's nothing major, just when you turn the phone off the shortcuts re set back to what they originally was and also the profiles do aswell, so until the fault as been resolved I can live with that as I rarely turn my phone off anyway, but I can always go back and swap it when the fault has been resolved. This really is the nest phone ever, it has a memory stick in the side, which is a bit difficult to get out, have to use tweezers, but printing photo's off your phone has never been so easy! you just take the stick out of the side of the phone put in convertor and straight into the photo machine in boots! It's ace! And the picture quality is excellent, you would never think the pictures came off a phone!!!!!

if u want 2 be albe 2 play the mp3's u just have to flash it; remove the operator software and it works. U can also use software on ur cpu to add a license to the mp3 file which doe make it playable on the foon with vf software

i used to have a K700i but didn't really like it due to the loud snap noise when you took pictures. Does K750 have the same problem??

paul blaize - no this wont work. although it is still a sony memory stick, the one in the phone is a memory stick duo (like a chopped down one) that you fit into an adapter to put into a card reader, therefore if your sony camera has a full size memory stick like mine it wont fit. also depending what network you are on, a standard picture message for most networks is about 50kb which will charge you for one mms, if you start trying to send big things it will cost shed loads. this is also something that users of this phone need to be aware of when sending the 2mb photos - the phone certainly on orange re sized the photo when i tried ot send a 2mb photo but re sized it to 58k thus charging me for 2 mms. other than that - i love it. ive just printed out some of the photos from it and they are excellent. you can barely tell it apart from my sony digital camera. i upgraded from my k700, and it was thebest thing i ever did. yes, it does reboot itself occasionally, but bearing in mind i re boot my pc most days with the stuff new phones do i dont think its that big a problem that once every other day i cant use my phone for 5 seconds. lovely phone, love it big stylie :o)

I've had this phone a few days, and no probs so far. Just one question, the sonyericsson site and everything else i've seen about the phone says that the phone supports 1gb mem sticks, but you can buy 2gb one. Will the phone support 2gb or only 1gb? just want to know before i spend almost as much as the phones worth on a 2gb stick!

to DEN TO DEN :::::::: ;;) u've got the fone, can u answer these questions please.

                    1. Is there a feature which enables u to enter a pass code before picking up the phone while it's ringing?

                    2. Can you enter a phone number so that when the number calls, the busy tone comes out (automatically - without having to hang up). I know it's in the T610

                    3. Can you record phone call conversations, if yes, whats the time limit?

                    4. Is it possible to lock the phone keys with a PASScode like the nokia?

                    Thank you

lol Voadafone are rubbish, go woth 02 or Orange! Also thanks for explaining to that guy about the message templates problem when downloading ringtones! I knew it was in those folders which i tried to explain lol but well done! If you have any problems mate let me and den know about it! Also den I live In Brighton, not far from London of course, next to the sea! Also if you want to use bluetooth to download stuf onto your phone, go to the bluetooth folder via the icon tray thingat the bottom right and search fopr your phone and get them conencted, then find the OBEX folder and will be various folders liek pictures and sounds etc to put your stuff in the right place! Bluetooth is great, don't need infa red=rubbish!

Also you can get 64MB cards of course, 512MB and 1GB which are the normal sizes but some people say this phone can actualy hold 2GB soon or soemthing and after that 4GB, is this true?

Vodafone's stopping MP3's etc from being used as ringtones isn't just a marketing ploy so you buy tones of them it is also due to copyright law and digital rights management. You can overcome this buy downloading a DRM packager tool from the internet (find @ google). But I'm told this invalidates your warranty.

                              Vodafone wont do it.
                              However, www.turnonyourmobile.co.uk

will do it, although not currently as the phone is so new. They said to check with them in a weeks time. I didnt get a cost. Am deciding whether to go that route or change to 02.

Have just spoken to vodafone regarding the MP3 ringtone and lack of apps/games issue, simply a vodafone marketing scheme to force you into downloading/paying for the extras.

The shop assistants were'nt going to hide the truth from me and suggested I get vodafone live removed and the original system put back on it or cancel my contract as it was within 14days. Atleast they were honest.

Either way via swings and roundabouts it seems like it's fixable.
