It's great! I reluctantly moved away from the SPV range since the SPV C550 is not avail 'til July. This 750i took my eye and boy, I am happy with it.

Plus:
The camera is superb. For a camera phone the quality is excellent.

The look is good. It's a phone with style and yet is practical in design.

Battery life appears to be long even with extensive camera use.

Comes with USB cable included, a certain other manufacturer could learn from this!

Very light and a good size.

Minus:
The keys are possibly a bit small/close for fat fingered folk.

Difficult to remove the SIM.

That's it so far!

It seems that there are two models of this k750, namely k750 and k750i... is there actually any differences btween these two??

Thanks Den re. pause on video. Even Orange and Sony could not tell me that.Big help.
Re. the zoom I mean after the photo is taken then zooming in more than times 4 seems to cause blur so no advantage.

couple of problems with k750. I tried sync. my phone yesterday using bluetooth and it failed, so I ended up using the USB cable and it worked fine.

While sync. it didn't copy the addresses and notes from Microsoft outlook instead it gave me a message that the synch. failed.

Also another thing while trying to use the camera when you open the lens cover the first time camera turns on but the whole screen is white, you actually have to close the lens cover and open it again before the you can actually see the picture.

Anyone else had the same problems.

                  den
I am using it with Tmobile USA I bought it from www.myworldphone.com and paid 480 for it.

Aren't you having problems with the gsm 850/900 issue with cingular as I think cingular supports GSM 850 in a lot of areas.

I mean to say they can act like flash drives. On a Nokia eg. NGage, you can store Word, Excel documents, but can't view them on the fone, you can store & transfer it to a PC.

jake: I would try using a RS-232 cable! I thought the K750 had a flash drive and on the Nokia flash drives, not smartphones can you put anything on there like word doc files and so on??

alanflow... The zoom loses all sense of detail.that's before u take the picture i have taken a few outside and zoomed at full and after i have taking the picture it clear's it up...also any wondering if zoom is 4x and zoom's like the k700 it dont, when u zoom in it goes 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 ect so there is no big jump.so it's like zooming in 40 time,s alittle a time...

alanflow ...you have to go into media when playing the video's and u can pause them and fastward, if u view them at full screen in media u have to press down on the stick to pause it...the camera is good on mine if u put them onto a pc they are sharper them the 6630...6630 has a bigger screen maybe looks different on the phone????

I have had this three days now. So disappointing. Pictures are of significantly poorer quality than Nokia 6630. The zoom loses all sense of detail. The video playback cannot be paused at any time on all of then acording to Sony who I spoke to twice. It is a error in all of the present ones. Battery length is about one day with a little video usage .So beware before buying.Looks nice, is very compact but picture quality is pretty bad.Voice quality is good but even at maximum volume is an effort to hear well.Very disappointing.

tranfering mp3 to the k750 is drag and drop also i only worked it out today was so simple just click on start my computer there is a drive 4 the phone when the phone is connected then just go into music file and drag and drop took 5seconds or so for a 5-6mg song.

whats the deal u got for the phone in USA?
                                    And where u got it?

Thats a cable only for SEs. Nokia's are more like flash drives, just plug them in your USB port vis USB cable & just drag n drop, its done, it doesnt even show the file being transfered. The K700i didnt have a memory stick, how'd you use a memory card reader with that. I think this is a problem with all SEs. With bluetooth, any fone takes the same time for file transfers. But what i would like to know is, was it because i used a DCU-11 cable? Would it have been faster if i used an RS-232 cable which is another cable for SEs. Or is it just one of those drawbacks of SEs?

The good thing about this you can store things on the memory card and not just on the phone and as the card is int he phone when you have the cable or bluetooth in it will pick the meory card up and do not need a memory card reader! So you can put anything on meory cards as the phone is limited to what files it supports!

Waiting for your reply to my last post jake!
