K790a is a tremendous phone!!!.What I need to know, if somebody could tell me, is why my phone is not having the light blue indicator that fades away when the reach is poor, that is situated up the power signal bars, in the top-left of the screen.The K750i comes with it. Does anybody knows what exactly minds that bar? Can it be added in some way or another???
The best camera-phone in the world for this days. Frendly software, very easy to handle by anyone. I have had a W600i, is very good walkman-phone, but is never like this. I can highly recomend this phone to anyone who loves the photography, it's a real Cyber-shot.
Please, I would love some answers.

i dont know how to switch on the flash in video mode if there is no flash in video mode then is there any software for the flash to be used in video mode

"new user" - playing mp3 its a quite heavy load for cellphones, also try setting screen brightness to lowest setting and keep the bluetooth off.

" " - it's just fine, I kinda like it, the camera is the best part. Note that I just don't like Sony Ericssons, but this one is different. Comes with just one battery. You can't use Pro DUO, you have to use the M2... it's smaller in physical size, thus the DUO won't fit.

hey gger, y does ur k790 do that? its only 1 month everything should be fine still right? any1 does this phone comes with a spare battery? and how about the memory, do i have to use M2? can i use Pro Duo instead?

I bought this phone 20 days back, everyone here is saying that its battary backup is very good, but i dont know why my k790i battary is not doing so much. my battary discharge in just 30-40 hours.
my usage of phone is also not that much, my usage is like approx 30 minute talkings, listening 4-5 songs and taking 4-5 photos.
what should i do?

I've been using this phone for a month... my little review:
Cons:
The volume of the normal speaker is way too low (the one for phone calls)
Case and batt cover are becoming loose (starting to crack)
Mega ultra cheap headphones and 64mb memory stick is a joke
The fact that it's a Sony Ericsson (not cool, sorry)
Pros:
Nice camera (bit better than the n73)
Powerful flash, REAL FLASH, don't be afraid of using this in dark conditions
Rock-solid OS (I have to admit it)
Some of your questions
The flash works as a real sony digi cam, while focusing a ultra bright orange led lits and then the big flash discharges (theres an available java app that allows you to use this orange led as a torch light.)
No joystick/charging problems yet. (as my previous k700)
Same FM reception as walkman phones.

I have this phone from the last 2 months and it is a great phone. It clicks an excellent photograph even in extreme darkness ie 0 lumens.
it also has excellent battery life and great screen resolution.
it also has video ringtones.
the only problem is that it comes with a small memory card (ie 64 mb) as it clicks a photo of size ranging from 600kb to 900kb at 3Mega pixel.

yup, i was at a sleepover and i took pic in pitch blackness but the flash lit up the whole room and it was fine but a lil fuzzy cause of the darkness

IMMEDIATE DESPERATE NEED FOR HELP :
i previously had k750,i saled it bcz its joystick started to show weird sign by not working properly,it didnt moved down wen i use to click,so i saled it,plz let me knw if it has the same joystick as k750

I have k790i. It has torch light as well as flash, so you can definitely take pictures in the dark.

Hii everybody i wanna ask something about this ph,can anyone tell me that if we want to take pic in darkness like where there is no light so dose it work?? because we can take pic with k750 in darkness due to the tourch light,but u people told that it doesnt has the tourch light it has only flash which works when we take pic.so can we take pics in the darkness with this ph?? n one more thing that can we use msn or yahoo messenger on this ph plz inform me soon...
