N73 records video in CIF mp4 format and best of SE in qCIF only in 3gp but some mp4 formats doesnt run on both 790/800 doesnt ve document viewer and only are series 40 so limited a lot in current days still they run real audio anyways just for the information nokia 6233 and n93 record in VGA 640 * 480 resolution

For all ppl take k790/800 as good cell solutions but honestly speaking N73 is the king which would do almost all the things honestly SE is doing good but with NG BROWSER OFFICE PLUS MEDIA N73 beats everything else if you can afford it is your answer email me for any queries and forget about nokia Xpress series buy a Symbian take care

i wanna buy ths phone.... can anyone tell abt ths perfomance n features.... n 1thing in video mode we can record more than 176*144 or the same like in w800 at present iam using w800i ths phone is preferable or not plz help me

this is a good phone but it would be better if it had a walkman and a better design with a few better features like viedeo call and wkan internet.

hi all,
im sorry to say but this phone too has joystick problem like its predecessors.
its been 1 month of heavy usage and the joystick has started to malfunction.
and one more thing: i use in-ear with my phone and the loudness is much lower compared to walkman phones,even k750
se guys please increase the volume inear in next firmware.

Only time you would need 850MHz with T-Mobile is if you roam in an area where they have a roaming agreement with Cingular or another 850MHz carrier. T-Mobile is 1900MHz. Cingular is 850/1900Mhz.
kahrlos.com had some the of the k790i and the k800i the other day.

Its a nice phone with good and nice camera.
But i can tell u few bad things. -Baterry is not as durable for a camera phone, -When you plug your usb to your phone you cant call, like the w800 -shutter sounds always stays on even when its on silent -lights cant be turned on..only used as flash..

I bought this phone couple of days ago. Reaaly good phone in fact. The only problems I've faced so far:
1) Video camera quality is average
2) There's something wrong with shortcuts' memory. When you set the sortcuts as you like, after a while it gets back to default settings.
Otherwise it's a very good phone, highly recommended

can i just say one thin about the person who said sony ericssons never perform well...umm they perform spectacular...i would know seing as i have had 7....i have also had 3 motorolas and 5 nokias....i review cell phones...that is why i have had so many....and i have used each hone for at least one month....with that said...it is unture that sony ericssons dont perform well...because they do...better than motorola and nokia in my opinion...as for sony cameras...they are definitely not the greates but they are not the worst either...thank you

Does anyone know the significance of high speed memory sticks? I am guessing that Sony will come out with high speed M2 sticks soon? If you have used high speed Pro or Pro Duo please let me know if you can get the full benefits of using a high speed memory stick on a phone.

Yes, it is a cybershot 3mp digital camera (without an optical zoom though), but to make so much noice about this overpriced product is not worth, since as a cell. phone Sony rarely performs well.
In addition, Sony digital cameras aren't the greatest either. Sony was taken 3rd rating place, after Canon (1st) and Nikon (2nd) two years ago, and now in the same place with only difference that Nikon went down to 4th place and Panasonic jumped to a 2nd with its very effective innovations in a digital camera world in the last two years.
If you want and advenced and pocket sized dig camera better spend money on New CANON SD800 IS and PANASONIC FX50 ( two new amazing cameras) with Canon finaly puted Image Stabilization and normal resolution screan.
Sony Cybershot k790/800 price should be no more than $300 (not $400). There is no more 3mp cameras being sold , but even the 4mp by kodak costs only $90 and 5mp $130 ( with more camera features than Sony k790 phone has).

Is K800, the 3G version, is available in India? The dealers here are familiar with K790i but not with K800. I also want to know whether K790i has 'Document Viewer'. Can K790i be made to work with Symbian OS? Please answer soon.
