I believe the micro memory stick works the same way as the mini SD, in the sense that there will be adaptors available to use it in devices that take the "regular" memory stick, but since devices that are specifically for micro memory stick have a small slot for it, there is no way to use a "regular" memory stick

James,
I think the first part of your comment is for Babdi, not me. As for the second part of your comment, I'm basing it on processor use. Just like a computer processor, cell phones processor will use up more power performing certain tasks compared to others. An extreme comparison would be the use of cell. phone to watch a movie, which will in fact drain the battery very quickly.

Well Mr."No name"
You have failed understand that launching phones too quick is sign of failure of the earlier model. Nokia covers up by launching a new model less some features which was giving them problems with a small tweak here and there.
Understand those who run faster cover shorter distances like many Nokia phone models. Take the case of N-70, N-90. There are so mnay problems with it. Nokia bites more than it can chew. Making a phone is one part. Sustaining the model without undesired bugs is another.
Provding good customer support is Nokia's
weakness.
Many my friends here will vouch the poor after sales service of Nokia.
Fortunately Sony Ericsson phones need less after sales service. This is because SE launches fewer phones and after thorough research of the failure of previous model.
Quality has its price.Time.
Nokia is launching phones so fast that their backroom boys dont have time to perfect the
product and the phone is launched half baked.
Trust me on this Mr. "No name" see the stability of much touted N-80 when it hits the market all over the world.
Nokia better hire additional staff in the refund section / complaint department.
Their hands will be full with refund claims
and their marketing guys will go hoarse convincing its cutomers

well SE have lots of tech but still it lose in all the fields.
Cameras- Canon, Nikon, Panasonic (quality)
mp3 - apple ipod, creative etc (market share)
TV/LCD/etc - Samsung, panasonic LG (quality, and with samsung market share!)
Phones - Nokia, motorola, samsung, "LG" (market share, and i dare to say durability. (i got a w600i and its useless my nokia 6270 is way better and it was cheaper.
when this phone is comming out nokia already will begin the shipping of the n80 (lots of advances, Wifi, Quadband-Dualmode UMTS (AND EDGE), a slightly bigger screen with better resolution. S60. then nokia is planning to release the third wave of n-series with carl zeiss and autofocus and a "n93" with optical zoom + wifi. so SE where are your top hardware/software if you can't make better than second?

James,
What good is a phone like N80, when it only has a 3 hour talk time? Using any other feature besides the phone will probably make the phone only usable for 1-2 hours. Some might argue that is what a battery charger is for, but I say I am getting a MOBILE phone, not a phone constantly stuck in a socket, if I wanted that, I wouldn't get a mobile phone and instead use my home computer and home telephone.

K790 & K800 are 3.2 MP Cameras with Cyber shot
and take shakeproof pictures. SE phones produce better music and SE software is more stable and less prone for virus unlike symbian

Well yea thats true sony ericsson has the diversification but they still lack something nokia seems to be crushing them on phones with O S the n80 has OS with a 3 mp cam the highest sony has is the p990 with a 2mp cam n nokia has like 5 phones with OS and 2mp cams sonyy needs more OS they already got the best cam quality on their phones.

Well guys Nokia just makes Mobile phones.
Sony makes Television, DVD, Digital Camera Camcorders and host of other things.
Therefore Sony has wealth of technologies to play with.
They use best technology from each area
and amalgmate to produce fine instruments
whether its Walkman. Camcorders, Televisions
or a Cellphone.
I guess this should silence SE critics

whoa! amazing...
s.e. started incorporating sony brands in their products... take the Walkman for instance (W series)... and now the Cybershot (K series)?! haha!
what would they think of next?
hmm... why not revive the CLIE?
nice ei?
ei, for those who are fightin' wether nokia/s.e. is better, will you just quit it!
don't you know that competition is a good thing? so when one has no competition, the victorious would rest on their laurels. look at nintendo... it was satisfied with what it has achieved...until psp came... see? at least now we have better, more high-tech phones to choose from. better yet, they are constantly challenging each other to bring out more...
here-hear?

dungdinh,
From what I remember it only has digital zoom. Currently, there are very few camera phones with optical zoom; it will probably become more common in about 1-2 years

I've had the k750 for 4 months ( NO PROBLEMS ) but I find myself lusting after this phone. Unfortunately, the memory cards are not interchangeable. Reviews say yes to bluetooth stereo.
Size ( for me ) isn't a factor, especially considering what the phone can do... I was surprised/disappointed at how small the 750 was ( I have "gorilla hands "). I like a phone that woon't slip through my fingers.
RUMOR: Another, even wilder phone coming down the pike.

The specs for K790 does not mention if SE is shipping the phone with Memory card and handsfree.
Also, as someone else asked here,if the 750 card will fit in K790. Even I curious if it would fit.
I had suggested that SE ship K790 with 30 fps video shoot speed.
Will someone answer these ?
Thanks
