Top phone, plenty of features and straight forward design, another cracker from S.E. even with a larger design they keep making them beter and better

Alright, I'm eagerly awaiting this phone, but have a couple of problems/questions:
The dimensions are larger and it's heavier than the k750, which I considered quite a bulky phone. :(
Ah well, I guess it's alot better than the k750. Now on to the questions:
1. The memory cards are different. But can I still put in my Sony Pro Duo card in there?
2. Anyone know the release date in Australia?
3. Anyone know if they'll improve the joystick function? The k750 joystick sucks, and I've only had it for 3 months, and it's already not responding to my commands.
4. Will it perfrom faster than the k750? I have a few 100kb gifs on my k750, and it slows down to a snails pace when I try to just access the pictures folder. Then when I see the gif, it's all slow and jerky.
5. Will the video record function be improved over the k750? The video record in that was pretty bad.
6. Will the speaker be louder? When I play my ringtones, it doesn't come up very loud at all.

if youreb gsm service provider uses 850 mhz and 1900mhz this is a good phone .wHy just not do a quadband k790 phone ?

why everybody always talking about the 3G phone is the best?? think with the good sense, are u realy need all of 3G facility in ur life? i believe, most of u, just use cellphone for sms, a little bit of telephoning and take a picture from the camera, so...b wise folks...

SE has been bringing out a lot of new phones lately..better and better but there's one thing that SE has left behind is the housing of the the phones,there's not much different between them..look at these phones : W800/W810/K750/W900/W950/...and now K790/K800..come on SE we need better phones and better looks too...!!!

The main reason is 850mhz band. Also I don't really care about the second camera, or the 3G.

hi.. guys wats this there is no diffrence in wait of sonyericsson k800/ k790 both are 115 gram in k 800 2 cameras and k790 only one so why wait is equal ???//?//??sorry for my bad english

It's note very beautiful but it has a 3.2 camera and that it's superb because it comes from SE :)
I w8 the W(walkman)series,very useful(batery,memory,etc).
I hope very soon !:D

Well it seems all about 3.2mega pixel camera that is creating so much hype without any spending on advertisement. No Doubt it imaging possibilities can take on any camera phone except may be those 10 mega pixels samsung phones. However only samsung knows about their clarity as they never try to sold therm anywhere except korea and showcasing everywhere except korea. But i dont know why sony ericsson limits users comfort by limiting the no of messages to be stored in phone. No support for office applications or for instance any other except those java which are made for low end mobiles. They released w950 with symbian and uiq but with no camera whereas nokia rules with its smartphone apllications though in hardware engineering it seems to be behind sony ericsson. I Dont know why sony ericsson dont look to expand as nokia in range of offering software solutions . Just think about that 3 mega pixel with symbian platform. Sony ericsson doesnt seems to be.......
