also a former n95 user here..im satisfied with this phone..i watch 3 movies i this phone and stil have extra bat while my 95 last for just 1/30 hour of watching,thats a fact..try it..i agree of it being reliable..and battery last for 2-3 days of usage..

just to settle the issue.
this phone hardly ever hangs! it is probably the MOST reliable smartphone I ever used. I currently have an uptime of 21days and it never restarts by itself. It only shows 21 days because i had to restart it to change the icon and some other mods i made, but otherwise no problem whatsoever.
(I am also currently an owner of N82. Before that i had N95 which i had to dispose because of sooooo many problems. Before N95 I used N73 which is much worse than N95 regarding stability.)

visit sonyericsson website, there is a free option to activate gprs/mms/email

sonny, 12 Aug 2008hi fellow p1i users pls help: nid to know if p1i supports r... moreyes it can support real video just like the ones being played on N82 or any other nokiaS60 phones.
But there are some types of real video that plays on Pc but cannot be played on P1i or any other phone for that matter.

it's really great mastering the qwerty keypad. coz if u can't, there is a disadvantage using the stylus of this phone when u r traveling .

can u give more details about it?u just dial ISP's number and u'll be connected without gprs and...?
any way it semms voice volume and ringing volume is low on this cell also music is soft,i hate that .i used to miss my important call just like that but not again,shame on u SonyEricsson.
this could be as loud as w910 but they cheating at u.it's also lower than p910?! what the hell is going on?

kojo, do you want sony ericsson to build you a phone that has a tv function? would you also like to have a satellite system installed for you to be able to watch hbo?
the phone is great, i only installed a few applications.... actually it'll just sound as 1, sad to say, i installed something i already have, though, with a different name. but its definitely useful...
i havent use the radio or the phone as an mp3 player... i have my own mp3 player...
the best thing about this phone, is that i can get connected to the net via my internet provider, without having to pass my mobile service provider.
either ways, communication made easy on this phone... and that's what phones are for.

Try your Sim on any other Mobile phone and test same...
Try updating your Mobile phone, if so you have latest update, this will format and re-instal the software(OS)
else contact your service provider for Signal strength info...
Or change location and try.

It's a cool phone. I just bought it yesterday. At first you'll find it confusing.. its all about being used to it. Now I'm so fine with it. when u buy phone be sure to buy from a reliable cell shop. The camera is great. The sounds. everything about it.

hi guys can any1 help, My new P1i just goes quiet on calls to the extent that the person who I call or calls me, ends up having to drop thge call because I cant hear them in order to respond...
I tried using the headset for calls but the same happened... I
formatted my memory stick thinking it had a virus (i keep downloaded stuff in the card and not phone) and whatever was not originally on the phone I moved to the card b4 formatting it...
I then downloaded the F-Secure antibirus and scanned it but found nothing but the problem persists... help, please, thx in advance!!!!

It's a great phone. I have this phone for almost 5 months and I never had any problem. Well, except the fact that there are only few games that P1i can support.
I only got a question, can P1i music player show the album cover if I added it to the MP3 details? Can someone tell me how to do it? Email me please at kinno318@gmail.com
